 It's the last Sunday of May, and that means this will be my last blog for the summer.  For those who have been following this blog for a few years, you know that I take a hiatus from writing during the summer months.  It's my time to regenerate, my time to rest, but most of all to take a bit of time to simply unwind.  This summer will not be without its projects as I am getting ready to publish another book, so publisher's demands will come into play at some point. With that being said I simply want to leave you with some good old encouragement today.  I want to embrace your beauty, your creativity, your uniqueness.  I want to tell you how wonderful you are, and how incredibly fortunate the world is having you in the midst of it all in this moment.

I dare say that there is not a single person out there who has not questioned what the hell has been going on in the world over the last year.  Many wonder if we will ever get back to normal.  Some have given up hope, others are clinging to desires, regrettably some have fallen victim to fear, and doubt.  What I want to do for you today is encourage you to step out into your power, put away fear and doubt, and let your inner sparkle shine through all the turmoil and garbage out there.  We as humans have a tendency to take on those things that appear to be around us, simply because what some people see, many believe that it is the reality of the times.  To be truthful, our reality is not always how others see things.  Our reality is that we are creators, and as such we should be creating our own reality.  That reality should be full of joy, happiness, peace, and of course love.  When you fill a world with joy, with happiness, with peace, and with love, you have a whole new panorama to view, and there is a whole lot more to experience in the positive. 

Without a doubt we have been tested this past year.  We have won a few, and probably lost a few.  We have gained some ground, and sadly, some have taken a few steps back.  The thing we need to realize is that we are still here, we are still standing, and we are still who we were created to be.  If I've learned anything over this past year it is "I am that I am".  I am not just a mortal.  I am not just flesh and bone.  I am so much more than that, and you are so much more than that.  Certainly things may not have gone according to plan, but whose plan were we focused on?  If what you attempted to do was governed by other people's desires or wants, if what you attempted to do was not truly in your heart, is this really something we should be saddened by if it didn't play out?  Bottom line is that we will have the desires of our heart, because those desires we placed there by our creator, and placed there because they were intended to be there for you.  

It is so easy to step away from who we are, what we are, when we are faced with uncertainty, faced with doubt, fear, or just an uneasiness about things.  What I need you to fully grasp and understand is that the real you, the unique you, the "I am that I am" you is changeless.  By virtue of the fact that it is changeless, it is the only thing that is real.  There is no doubt that these next three months of rest for me will yield new knowledge, a new depth of understanding.  I use this time to go deeper, to grasp more of what I desire to know.  This is the same thing I desire for you.  No one wants to entertain thoughts of dread, feelings of doubt.  Each of us have a destiny, and in that destiny is your call to change humanity.  Walking in your destiny is the only thing that is ever going to bring you absolute peace.  Walking in your destiny is the only acceptable outcome to this thing we call life.  

Whether you believe it or not, you are uniquely equipped to accomplish great things.  Whether you want to admit it, you have an inner knowing of something much bigger than yourself.  Recognizing and accepting our call to arms, is one of the first steps in the process of walking in your destiny.  We celebrate Memorial Day in the United States this weekend.  This day is to remember all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for this country.  There are countless people, probably unknown to us, who have come before us, and their willingness to walk in their destiny, is what has gotten you to the point of you walking in your destiny.  There is nothing that we do that will not directly impact someone else.  There is nothing that others have done that does not directly impact you.  We are all connected, and each piece of the puzzle has a place.  If one piece is missing, then it is impossible to complete it.  Your piece of the puzzle is just as important as someone else's.  

It is time that you let out the real you.  The real you that has been held captive by other's words, by fear and doubt.  It is time that you stand up and be counted.  You are not some simple, unimportant figure, simply taking up space on this planet.  Your gifting, your calling, is exactly what someone needs, and you need to put it out there if for no other reason than someone is looking for it.  When you shine your light, you are giving your light away.  Know that if you give light, light comes back to you.  It's impossible to give of yourself and not have it come back to you.  Think of this: if you were in a darkened cave, with absolutely no light, how likely is it that you would simply bolt forward without any fear or trepidation?  Well how likely would it be for the world to move forward without your light?  Even the tiniest spark of light takes away the darkness, and believe you me, you have a whole lot more than just a spark of light in you.  

As I close out this year of writing, let me leave you with one final thought.  We, meaning all of us, collectively, no one excluded, have a part to play in this life.  Your role is no less, nor more important than any other role.  Touching a single life, or a million, is no different.  The time has come for you to accept your calling.  The time has come for you to step out into your destiny.  The time has come quite frankly for you to stand in those things that you were created for.  Yes I get that there may be questions still yet unanswered, but that doesn't mean we don't start the journey.  There is much to accomplish, and no matter where you find yourself, you have a part in what is about to come forth.  A lot can happen in three months.  I'm always a little saddened when I know this hiatus is coming, but trust me, I will grow from it, and then I can pass it on to each of you.  Be blessed my dear friends, and you can always drop me a note.  I post on facebook, and you can always message me, and we can talk.  Love and light to all.  I'll see you gain in September.

How's that view from the summit?

So how's that view from the top of your summit? What's that, you're not there yet?  That's OK, the big question is, are you at least at a point where you can anticipate reaching the top?  Still not sure? What about this:  have you at least made the determination where you want to go?  Oh, not even that.  OK, maybe we need to take a step back and rethink a few things.  Today I want to focus on what you really want, why you want it, and most of all, the power behind your desires.  One of the worst feelings in the world is when you really want something, and at the same time you have zero confidence that you are ever going to have what you want.  Many people say they want something, but when push comes to shove, they are unwilling, or unable to do those things that need to be done, in order to obtain the things they desire.  In reality the desire, or the need, did not outweigh the effort required.  

One of the first things I think about when I'm thinking about what I want or what I desire, is why?  Why do I want it? Why do I want a million dollars?  Why do I want a new home, or car, or job?  The reasons behind why something is desired can offer lead us to the answer as to why the things you want never manifest in your life.  If your desire for more money is simply to have it to lord over others, well your motivation is just a bit out of whack, in my opinion.  If on the other hand your desire to manifest abundance is so you can reach others with it, well then kudos to you.  Your desire to help others is indeed a noble quest, and assuming your focus does not change, it's a pretty good bet that ultimately you will achieve what you desire to achieve.  

Everyone's summit is different.  When we reach our summit will also be different.  Some people achieve their goals early in life, while others seems to take to the very last moment.  The key to reaching any goal is not taking your eyes off the goal.  The key to achieving your golds is believing that you are deserving of obtaining them.  The key is you, and and only you.  Certainly there will be people put in your path that will be there to assist you, but the absolute key to any successful endeavor is you, and your understanding that success is for you.

When you look at any mountain from afar it is easy to see the top.  When you are at the bottom, just starting out on your trek up the mountain you may not see everything, as terrain may block your view.  It is so important to remember that no matter what you see, at the end of your journey you will be at the top. Life is filled with things that may keep our eyes off the end, but that should never change what you know to be truth, and that truth is why you were put on this earth in the first place.  

Let me ask you this question:  do you think that you will only have one summit to climb in your journey of discovery?  Do you think that once you reach the summit, that there will never be another task to complete?  I guess the answer to these two questions is largely dependent on you.  If you are content with where you are in the moment, if you feel as though you have completed everything there is to complete in life, well then simply sit back and enjoy the view, you earned it.  If on the other hand you have this desire to do more, then do more.  There will always be mountains to climb.  There will always be adventure in life.  That being said, only you can make the decision to continue to climb.  

Why am I talking about this today?  There are many who have become weary, tired, afraid, and doubtful.  There are even others who have decided to give up.  Trust me, now is not the time to give up on your dreams, your desires, the conquering of your mountains.  When trials comes, as they will for most people, it is paramount that you keep the goal in focus.  Too many times in life people quit way too soon in the process.  Trust me, I've been guilty of that a few times in the past.  You hear all kinds of stories from quote, unquote, successful people who will tell you that they never gave up.  What separates success from failure? What determines reaching the summit, and just staying at the bottom?  It really comes down to you to be truthful.  Either you believe you are cast in the creator's image or you do not.  Either you believe that you are worthy of obtaining your dreams and desires, or you do not.  I can't make you believe.  Certainly I can motivate you, but I can't make you.  Trust me, if I had the power to snap my finger and your every dreams would come to fruition I would.  Well at least the dreams that run true to who and what you are.  

The view from your summit is going to be spectacular, just don't give up before you reach the top.  There will be times when each of us question why, what, and how.  That's pretty natural to be honest.  The key is not to let the why get in the way, or the what, or even the how.  If we will get out of the way and allow God to be God, we might find that things work out, that what was complex becomes simple, and what we never really though would be, is.  We as humans have a tendency to complicate matters.  We want to insert all kinds of things that really have no significance, but insert we do.  We need to believe that we will reach the summit.  We need to understand that what we have in our hearts to do, is in our hearts because we are supposed to do it.  As easy as it is to believe that the sun will rise again tomorrow morning, that's how easy it should be to believe that you have a calling, a purpose, a destiny.  In said calling, purpose, and destiny, you have been born with all you will ever need to accomplish what you were sent here to accomplish.  

If you have yet to reach the top of your summit, don't fret.  While you are climbing it's important to remember that you will change lives in the process.  While you're making your trek up the mountain it's important to remember that there will be lessons to learn, and these lessons will allow you to teach others what they need to know.  Very rarely are the lessons we go through in life meant just for us.  There will be a person half the world away that needs to know what you have gone through because they maybe faced with a similar issue.  We are all one, we are all connected, and when you come to understand that, you will understand why we go through some of the things we go through.  When you can accept that we are all one, you can draw on that oneness to get you where you need to be.  When you hold on to the oneness, you will have an easier journey up your summit.  

The view from the top is magnificent, but boy half the fun is getting to the top.  Never neglect an opportunity to enjoy every aspect of your journey.  There are no wasted movements when it comes to the universe, so you might as well accept that what needs to happen will happen, and they happen for a reason.

 Some say that simple is as simple does.  Simple is in the eye of the beholder. It's as simple as 1,2,3. There's a million and one ways to describe simple,  I won't bore you with details, because details tend to make things less simple.  Yes I'm being a little silly this morning, but the point I want to bring out is that simple really is the best way to look at things, and when we can get away from complicating things, we are able to have much more success in whatever it is we are trying to undertake.  I placed a simple background photo as my blog photo today.  There are times when we try to place too much into something, or do too much.  It's kind of like when you are coming home from the market, and you are bound and determined to only make one trip from the car to the house.  You start placing bags in one hand, way too many to actually handle, and then the last three or four are placed in the other, as you try to open the door without having to drop the bags to the ground to do it.  It would have been much simpler had you just decided to make two trips instead of one.  So what does a plain background pic, and hauling bags from your car to your counter top have to do with keeping things simple.  We have all been guilty of complicating matters by trying to simplify things, but our idea of simplifying is anything but simple.

Let's look at a few simple truths, and in doing so, maybe we will walk away with a new way of looking at things, and how we look at things is really going to simply life in a big way.  First things first:  we are perfect.  How do I know we are perfect?  We are perfect by the mere fact that we were created by perfection.  It doesn't matter if you are five inches shorter than you desire, or twenty pounds heavier than you want.  It doesn't matter if you have curly hair, and all you ever wanted was straight hair.  We could go on day after day bemoaning things in our life that we really have no control over, but that is a total waste of time.  You have to come to the conclusion that things have been put into place for a reason, and the sooner you realize this the sooner you can simplify things in your life.  You have to come to the conclusion that you being here in this moment is in the perfection of the universe.  I've spent what seems like a lifetime trying to uncomplicated things that in actuality were simple.  

Why am I talking about simplification today?  I look around me and I see confusion.  I see fear, I see doubt, I see people wondering when things are going to get back to normal.  I look around and even I wonder what in the hell is going on right now?  Why are there so many people scared to death?  Why are so many people worried about what is coming down the pike?  Why did the Patriots get rid of Tom Brady?  OK, that last statement was just for fun, I digress.  When you get down to the nitty gritty fear is simply the absence of peace, sadness the absence of joy, hate the absence of love.  Life is complicated because we refuse to simplify things.  We refuse to simplify things because we don't believe that life is supposed to be simple.  It's a crazy cycle, but it's a cycle that many, many people find themselves in. You have all you need, and you have always had everything you need in life to walk in total freedom.  When I say freedom I mean free from fear, free from hate, free from sadness.  

God spoke this entire thing we call "existence" into being.  The far reaches of the Universe was created by words and thought.  The earth was created by words and thought.  The tiny nat flying around your garbage can was created by words and thought.  If you were created in God's image, then you are creating with your words and thought.  Here's the issue we find ourselves in more often than not: we can't believe we have the power to create, yet we are living in situations that we created.  Everything you have gone through, everything you will go through, everything that you have, or even everything that you feel you lack, is a result of your words and thoughts.  Whether you believe it or not, you create just like God creates because you are quite frankly just like God.  Oh I hear many people falling off their chair right now because I have dared to say we are like God.  You can shot me later, but those who feel that I have somehow blasphemed are the very same people walking round wondering why the world is such a bad place and wondering why bad things happen to them.

If you want to simplify your life, if you want to just turn things around get to know the real you.  Get to know the perfection of your design.  I know I've said this a thousand times, but maybe the thousand and first time will be the time that you finally see the truth.  There is nothing imperfect about you.  Everything you are, everything you do is meant to bring you to the place you were meant to be in.  Everything is teaching us, bringing us one step closer to our destiny.  Instead of trying to always change things, maybe you should be trying to embrace all things.  I know that some will think I'm an absolute idiot for the way I look at things.  I'm OK with that.  You see, I know who I am.  Now I'm still learning more about me, more about my abilities, more about my power, but at least I'm willing to learn, and willing to walk in it.  Those who turn a blind eye to the truth, well they're the ones who will be screaming bloody murder when things go bad for them.  

Embracing the truth is as simple as 1,2,3.  Embracing the real you is as simple at 1 + 1 equals 2.  Being who you were meant to be is as simple as accepting who you were meant to be.  When we try to reinvent ourselves, because of what others might say or think, we are doing nothing more than creating a phony picture of ourselves.  It's only when we accept our authentic self that we are able to fully walk in our destiny.  Life is only complicated when we refuse to simplify things, and we can only simplify things when we come to an understanding of the real you.  Life is so much better when you know the answer before the question is even asked.  

Hey, are you awake?

Some are, some aren't. Some are getting there, while others are running for the hills.  Many are trying to figure out just what it is that they are felling, while others are asking why me.  No matter how you look at it we are all in the middle of a great awakening.  This awakening is not the first time, but it sure does feel like it is something out of this world, no pun intended.  Today I simply want to express why this time we are living in is so special, yet so critical to why we are here, and why we are who we are.  I need you to buckle your seat belts because what I want to say today just may toss you about, but it will be so worth it in the end. 

There's no doubt that the world is all Hellter Skelter right now.  Some of what we always thought to be true has been proven false, and many falsehoods that we simply knew to be rubbish are panning out to be anything but that.  There's no doubt that many people will be asleep during this "Great Awakening".  They have slept through things before, and will sleep through them again.  Some people will find it difficult to grasp the enormity of what is about to take place, while others will welcome these changes with open arms.  What I want to encourage you to do is simply prepare yourself, and know that what is happening has been planned to happen since the beginning of time.  You are simply the lucky recipient of this fantastic journey.  I'm not sure I will be able to perfectly describe in words what is happening right now, but I will do my best, and I can tell you I am depending on a huge download from the Universe to help me help you.  

First things first. I am not here to say that I am completely awakened.  I have lots to learn, and I find myself in unchartered territory just like many of you.  I have found myself drifting back to a place of security in as much as I am trying to embrace the significance of God, the perfection of God, and thereby the perfection of myself.  It is in finding, or should I say, in the accepting of your perfection, that you will be able to walk in this awakening.   Right now we have the incredible honor of being able to open our book, and fill it's empty pages with whatever it is that we are desiring.  These desires can bring happiness, or in some cases sadness, it all depends on what side of the equation you fall on in regards to beliefs.  I've been reading a book by U.S. Anderson, and the thrust of the book is that we are all connected.  It's amazing that what I am reading right now is what I have been writing about for many years.  I guess it's nice to have, how should I say this, it's nice to have confirmation that I am on the right path.  Anyhow, nothing that is happening right now is happening out of happenstance.  It is all ordained by our creator, and those who are willing to listen, willing to feel, and willing to act, they are the ones who will be smack dab in the middle of something incredible.  

So what is an awakening?  In its simplest terms it is opening your eyes, both physical and spiritual, and seeing truth.  We have been exposed to a whole lot of fiction throughout our life.  Now this fiction may have been presented to us with good intentions, but the path to hell is paved with good intentions.  There is a huge difference between truth and falsehood, yet much of the time it looks the same. This awakening has to happen, just as awakenings have happened in the past, and will happen in the future.  If you believe as I do that we are all interconnected, meaning we all came from the same source, then we are all going through this awakening.  The question that one needs to ask is why are some getting it, and others simply ignore it?  That is the Million Dollar question, and sadly we will never be able to change the fact that some people will miss what is about to happen.  

Why is this awakening happening is a question many ask.  Let me tell you that this is all happening so that you might fully, or at least start to understand the significance of your existence.  My god in heaven, you are not on this planet just for the free popcorn.  You are here to do something.  No matter how big or how small it might seem to you or to someone else, it is why you are here.  Whether what you do changes one person, or an entire continent, it is all the same.  One is no more important than the other.  What is important is that you take your rightful place.  Your rightful place is not wanting, or living in lack.  It is not always feeling left out.  It is not feeling detached, and unimportant.  Your rightful place is standing in your power. Your rightful place is operating as God operates.  We may think we are totally illuminated, but let's be real, there have only been a few before us who walked in total illumination.  Try as we might, we all have a ways to go to walk as Christ did, or Buddha, or Mohammed.  That's doesn't mean we give up.  We are on a journey that is going to lead us to the perfect place, and in this perfect place you will have the life that was intended, and that life is simply beautiful.  Words cannot describe the beauty and perfection of what is already yours.  You simply have to accept it, and begin to walk in it.  

Sadly many will sleep through this awakening believing they have already arrived and have nothing else to learn.  Oh foolish people LOL.  Until you are able to fully operate away from your conscious mind, and only create with your unconscious mind, will you fully be awakened.  Some will say that it's impossible to operate without the conscious mind. Yes, in a way true, but also very short sighted.  For the conscious mind has been conditioned to believe certain things, that quite frankly are not real.  You have so much power, and until such time as you allow your subconscious mind to take control, you will always be prone to believing things that simply are not true.  I know this may seem very abstract, but trust me, in due time all things will be revealed and you will see the greatness of your design, the truth of your power, and the reason you were sent here in the first place.  

The Great Awakening is something we are all going to be going through.  Will you embrace it with all that you are, or will you simply sit back and be a spectator?  My advice is that you embrace it all, seek truth, and welcome what is taking place.  There is much I still don't know about what is going to be happening, but I stand eager and prepared to do my part.  My advice to you this wonderful day is that you choose to also be a participant is this awakening.  We are so much more than simple human beings, and now is the time to discover that.  The outcome may shock you, but boy is it going to be a fun time. and it is surely going to impress you when it's all said and done.  Get ready my loved ones, it's about to get real. 
 

Knowing Me, Knowing you, we really are one mind.

Are you prepared for a wild ride this morning?  I ask that question because there will be some who will  not be able to grasp what I am about to present.  It's not that what I have to say is anything new, but it may be the first time you have been exposed to ideas such as these, and I simply want to prepare you.  There are so many people talking about the "Great Awakening".  Now this is nothing new, we have been experiencing an awakening every single day since the time of our birth.  We learn new things every day, some we believe, others we don't.  I really, really, really,  emphasis on really, need you to understand and believe what I am going to present to you today.  

I truly believe we are in a critical time in man's development.  If we are going to reach a new level of understanding, of functioning on this time line, we are going to have to understand a few things.  Most of what we have been taught thus far, or things we have picked up, or even things that have been forced down our throats is nothing but garbage.  We have been subjected to doubt, worry, fear, because we have been taught that that is part of life.  We have been fed a ton of lies about our abilities, or in some cases lack of ability.  Well I'm here to tell you that today is your day of redemption.  Today, if you will open your mind, calm your heart, and listen, you will see things differently, you will live differently.  Happily you will finally start to see why you were designed the way you were, and the purpose behind your design.  

Will you agree with me that if you have siblings then they share many things because they came from the same parents?  You will never be able to separate the fact that children have a biological mother and father.  As such, biological offspring are always going to share something.  We take with us bits from our parents because we came from our parents.  Well if you take this to a different level we can surmise that we came from a creator. Now whether you want to call this creator God, or Source, or Spirit, it matters not.  Fact is, we came from something.  You can argue that point until the cows come home, but we started somewhere.  Just like you share DNA with your siblings, because you came from the same parents, you share something with all other people, because we came from the same creator.  Now we may be separated by vast miles, vast time periods, but those that came before us, those that will come after us, we will still share something.  Now stay with me because you will see shortly where I am taking all this.  

There is a consciousness that we all share, and we share it because we all emanated from the same source. This consciousness, or mind, whatever you want to call it, is what connects us to every living creature. This Universal Consciousness is what gives us direction.  It gives us clarity, if we will look for it.  Universal Consciousness is not a myth.  Sadly there have been those in the past that have tried to abuse or misrepresent Universal Consciousness.  It is what it is, you're always going to have idiots that try to take advantage of situations, or others, for their own gratification or profit.  

Hang on now, because this is where it gets deep.  Each of us has thoughts.  You can't even quantify the amount of thoughts you have had since your birth, let alone the number of thoughts that have been thought about by every creation since the beginning of time.  Those thoughts however are connected.  Every one, every time, without exception.  You may not be thinking about what your neighbor is thinking about, or your brother, or sister, aunt or uncle, but they are still connected.  It's also important to note that these thoughts never go away, they are eternal.  If you release a thought you have let it go, there's no putting the Genie back in the bottle.  If these thoughts are connected, then isn't it conceivable to think that we can learn from each thought.  If you accept this premise, and I suggest you do, then you have at your disposal unlimited, almost endless possibilities to choose from when trying to figure something out.  Ever go through your day and suddenly a thought pops into your head, and quite frankly you have no idea where it came from?  Ever look at something and instantly you know something about it, even if it is the first time you have every experienced it?  These are all signs of the Universal Mind, the Universal Consciousness, the One Mind.  You have just been given the keys to the vault.  You have just been granted access to unlimited knowledge.  We've all learned from experience.  When you burned your fingers on the hot stove when you were little, you quickly learned not to touch a hot stove.  Well you now have been granted permission to learn from other's experiences.  Our minds are all inter-connected because we are all inter-connected by virtue of being created by the one and only Creator of the Universe.  

So what does all this mean?  It means that we have been granted unlimited access to all other thought in the entire universe.  We have the ability to garner all that we need, if we are brave enough to walk down the path of Universal Consciousness.  We have the ability to learn from other's experiences, even when others occupy different space, different bodies.  This may all sound impossible, but it is what it is.  There are too many people walking around looking for help and yet they have what they need, if they will only choose to believe, choose to embrace, and choose to tap into the One Mind.  If one is given a gift, they will only benefit from said gift if they take it, use it, and understand it.  I can tell you all day about the benefits of the One Mind, but if you continue to think that you are alone, that you alone have to solve all issues, then you will miss out on the magnificence of consciousness.  

Like anything in life when something new comes along, or at least new to you, there is a learning curve.  You may not walk perfectly in it for a period of time, but the more you use it, the more you accept it, the better you will be because of it.  Accepting that we are all connected, acknowledging that we are all can benefit from others, is a great starting point.  Knowing me, is knowing you, and vice versa.  When we reach out to listen to what the One Mind is telling us all the issues we may face somehow dwindle in size.  Those things that used to scare us, used to worry us, those things begin to be few and far between.  Universal Consciousness is a very real thing.  It is as real as you, real as me, real as everyone.  Open your mind to other minds, other dimensions.  I know that some may seem this as fantasy, but I assure you it is anything but that.  If you have wanted to go deeper in your understanding of who you are, what you are, where you came from, and where you are going, if you want to experience deeper feelings, then tap into the Universal Consciousness.  I promise you this: once you taste the sweet nectar of the One Mind, once you latch on to the importance of Universal Consciousness, you will never be the same.  You have this in you , around you.  Learn how to tap in, and be sure you are sending out good thoughts.
