Why your life is so much better than you might think!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/130082958@N04/18888762052
I get how things can get people down from time to time.  I fully understand how life seems to throw people a curved ball out of the blue.  I completely see why some people feel as though there are no options when it comes to going through trying times.   I'm here to tell you today that your life is so much better then current or former circumstances might dictate.  When one is faced with less than desirable events, it is awfully hard to remember that we need to enjoy every moment of life.  I've said it before that everything is a lesson, and joy can be found in any and every lesson in life.

Now I've been accused of being a heartless S.O.B.  I guess this might stem from the fact that I just don't care.  Don't misunderstand, it's not that I don't care about people, because I care deeply.  What I don't care about is circumstances, or events, or even the excuses I hear from others as to why their life is so totally abysmal.  If you want to walk around with the proverbial Black Thunder Cloud hovering over you at all times, I guess that is your choice, but there is an option.   Why not try to enjoy every single moment of your life?  Why not throw caution to the wind and simply go do something you have always wanted to do?  Why not look at all of your tomorrows and realize that each day is an opportunity to walk in joy, peace, happiness, and oh so much love?  Too many people will look at a situation, be it bad, good, or even indifferent, and then everything else in life is going to be based off of what just happened, or didn't happen.   My dear friends life is not a measurement of what just happened, or what might happen, but rather what you hold in your heart.  Life is a journey of discovery and once you give up on learning more about who and what you are, you have just given up on life.  I have had to deal with issues in my life.  There have been times when I haven't fared so well.  There have even been times in my life when I really didn't care if I had any more tomorrows in me.  That all changed when I came to the realization that there were things that I needed to do.  Things that needed to be done by me, and me alone.  You see, you are not here by accident, and once you grasp your greatness, your uniqueness, your totally awesome self, then and only then will you begin to see that life is so much better than you ever thought possible.

If you aren't enjoying every moment of your life then you are focusing on things that quite frankly needn't be focused on.  We all look at life and try to figure out why certain things are happening.  We all wonder what we might have done differently, or if there was a better way of handling a particular situation.  Shoulda, coulda, woulda, and $2.95 will get you a cup of coffee somewhere.  No one is immune from second guessing themselves.  No one is going to go through life with out wondering about that great idea that might have gotten away from you.  No one is going to simply skip through life and never wonder about the "one" who got away.  Face it, we're human and we mess up like every other human before us.  If you can accept that you can't change the past, that there are no guarantees for the future, and that living in the now is your best option, then you can finally start to enjoy every second of your life.

I got home from work this evening having driven way out to the North Dallas Forty.  I came home to our dog who knew nothing about my long day.  Her tail was wagging and she loved that Papa was home, and she knew was it was time for undivided attention.  Puppy was focused on Papa, Papa was focused on Lucy, and as far as she was concerned the world was perfect.  When was the last time you felt as though the world was perfect?  When was the last time that you just enjoyed the place you were at and appreciate all that was going on around you?  I was tired today, but boy do I love coming home to my dog, my husband, and our home.  I love being around those I love, and I love those around me.  It's time that you realize that you have so much going for you, and without regard to your current surroundings, your current situation, you are a created being who was created to create.  You are divine, and you are infinite.  When you are able to tap into your divinity, explore your infinite side of life, and accept your greatness, that will be the time that you will enjoy and walk in peace, joy, and happiness.

I'd like to touch on the greatness issue for just a moment.  Too often we look at things and we base our decisions and thoughts on things that we have been conditioned to believe.  Sadly all that conditioning that we have been put through during the totality of our life has gotten you to a place where you are unfamiliar with the real you.  Not knowing the real you is going to make it very difficult to walk in life with utter joy and happiness.  Man's conditioning has done nothing to bring you to the right side of infinity, and this side of infinity is where you should abide.  We are infinite beings and we will have no end.  We have always been and will always be.  I know that this may come as a shock too many, but as an entity created out of energy, you are not going anywhere.  Yes we will leave this human form at some point in time, but your true essence is going to continue on.  Now given the option to live in joy, having the life of your dreams, or simply existing for the sake of existence, what path would you prefer?  Get this through your head:  you are divine, you are infinite, and you have all the ability to create the perfect life.  Don't allow what may be going on around you to form your thoughts and feelings, especially when those thoughts and feelings are contrary to your true self.  It's time to tap into infinity.  It's time to accept your greatness, and with this acceptance comes a life that will know nothing but joy, happiness, and a whole bunch of better!  Your life is just waiting for you to take it on a journey, and this journey is not one that you are going to want to miss, I guarantee it.

Live your life the way it was meant to be.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/138014685@N08/26385800867
When was the last time you lived the perfect day?  When was the last time you felt as though all the planets were aligned perfectly and that life just couldn't get any better than it is right now?  When was the last time you sat down and just relaxed in total gratitude for who you are, what you do, and for all those things present in your life?  I dare say that if you took a poll of the entire planet, maybe ten percent of the population would say that they are living a life of perfection.  Now perfection in this case doesn't mean not making mistakes.  Face it, we are human and we are going to screw things up from time to time.  Perfection means realizing the perfection of your design, the perfection of you being here in this moment.  Perfection means that all things work for a common good, and that common good my friends is knowing the real you.

I am so grateful for the place I am in right now.  I love our new town, our new home, my new job, and even my new truck.  I am so grateful that I listened to the Universe's prompting and made the move to Texas.  Have there been some unsettling moments?  Of course, but in living your life the way it was meant to be you have to realize that all these moments are teachable moments.  I've made the observation before that one can not appreciate the sunshine unless they have gone through the rain.  I love the heat and warmth of Texas, but that's because I've been through many cold, cold winters in Maine.  How many people do you know who find the good in any situation and try to learn from every event in life?  The wise person will never discount any situation.  Let's be real for a moment, and can we agree that when life has a lesson for you to learn, you are eventually going to learn it come hell or high water?

Living the life you were meant to live should bring you joy, happiness, and unlimited amounts of optimism.   If you are not experiencing these three things, then are you really living?  Sure you are walking about, breathing, and doing something, but is that really living?  I want you to look at each new day as a time to experience even greater amounts of joy, happiness, and optimism.  As I sit here writing at Seven A.M. on a Sunday morning, I am sipping a cup of coffee, watching our dog chew up one of my husband's black socks, and I have such joy in my life.  I am living joy, happiness, and optimism, and I am so grateful for being in this place at this moment.  My desire is that each of you find this place to be in, and once you get in this place, know that there is no other place you would rather be in.  Finding joy and happiness is not a measure of how much money you may make, or how successful you are.  I know plenty of people who have money, and yet happiness escapes them.  Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, gratitude; start displaying this and watch things get bigger and bigger for you.  Start showing and living gratitude and watch things blossom in front of you in a larger scale than you could ever have imagined.  When one shows gratitude for all that is present, one is saying I am where I'm supposed to be and going through what I'm supposed to be going through.

A perfect day may have it's ups and downs, but the perfect day of which I am speaking is perfect because it is setting you up for even better things tomorrow.  How one handles today will certainly dictate what takes place tomorrow, and what takes place the day after that.

We talk about hope, faith, and the importance of never loosing hope and faith.  I've been around long enough that I can say there have been times in my life when I had lost hope.  My faith had been tried and I was on the loosing end of the battle.  What I couldn't figure out was why I was going through what I was going through.  I just thought that life was there to mess with me, and I was going to be sitting in a pile of crap for the rest of my life.  Thank god I was able to see the perfection of me going through what I went through.  Once again, you will never appreciate walking in the light if you hadn't just gotten through the darkness.  Lessons learned is what this is all about.  We don't go through trials and tribulations simply because you've done something wrong and this is the Universe's way of punishing you.  We go through struggles to teach us.

A perfect day is being grateful for everything you experienced during the day, and I mean everything.  When I get impatient driving I've just learned a valuable lesson that I shouldn't take myself so seriously and just relax.  When I sit here writing in the morning I am so grateful that I get to do this each week.  I'm simply doing what I was created to do, and I'm living the life I was intended to live.  When you begin to be grateful for even the smallest of things in your life then you are setting yourself up for the opportunity to be grateful for even bigger things in life.  Be grateful for all the things that are going on around you.  Be grateful for those who come into your life, and even for those who have left.  There is no coincidence when it comes to the perfection of the universe.  There is no coincidence when it comes to the perfection of your design.  There is no coincidence when it comes to living your life the way it was meant to be.  Embrace gratitude and gratitude will reach back and embrace you with the biggest hug you could ever imagine.

Living your life the way it was meant to be is what should motivate you each day.  When you are indeed living life in its perfect state then you are inviting joy, happiness, and optimism into your surroundings and when these three things are present there isn't much that won't put a smile on your face.  Be at peace.  When you can show gratitude, breath easy, and smile at things around you, you are setting yourself up to live the perfect day.  If you can live one perfect day, you can live a second, and then it's off to the races.  Love who you are my dear friends and be in a constant state of gratitude for all that is present.  Trust me, being grateful will usher in opportunities for even more goodness in your life.

Discover the power of Intention.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/98609821@N00/15297130712
OK, it's time for a reality check.  It's time to be honest, and it's time to finally say what you desire most in life.  I will tell you that most people are unable to have what they truly desire because they don't believe that having it all is in the cards for them.  Some people just don't believe that they are worthy of having their heart's desire.  If you have fallen prey to the idea that goodness, happiness, and joy are only for others, then it's time to discover the power of intention.

If you are unable to find the joy in things, then joy is going to be absent from your life.  I have had to go through some pretty tough situations in my life, but I have also found the joy in each of those situations.  It is only when we have gratitude for everything that we are able to really walk in intention, and walking with intention is the only way you are ever going to experience all the goodness that life has to offer.

Do you want to know why people fail?  People fail because they feel like there has to be both good and bad in life.  It's as if there is a scale and on one side is goodness, and on the other is crap.  These scales have to equal out, at least that's the perception.  Sadly we have been conditioned to think this, feel this, speak this our entire life, and once you realize the great hoax, it takes years to get rid of this stinking thinking.  We are created beings, and we were created to create.  We were not designed to live in scarcity.  We were not intended to go without things, and trust me, we have been sold a bill of goods as it pertains to what life is suppose to be like.  How many times have you heard "that's just the way things are"?  Well that's not the way things are!  If you continually accept all the negative then you're simply inviting more negative into your life.  I can't spell it out any clearer; stop accepting what others say has to be.  If you want to turn things around then accept the fact that you can, and quite bluntly you need to, set the intention.   Intention is seeing things as though they are, even if the physical manifestation is not present yet for the eye to see.  Intention is a knowing that what you desire most is already here.  Why do you think you have a desire in the first place?  That desire was placed in you, not just for shits and giggles, it was placed in you because it was meant for you.  I'm so tired of people who know what they desire, but others have robbed them of it.

Living by intention is realizing that you control what goes on in your life, in your surroundings, and you have the final say.  I can already feel the kickback from those who don't believe this.  Fine, stay where you're at, and continue to experience all the negative.  As for me, I think intention is where it's at, and I won't let go of it.  Living Intention is just that, it's finally living the way you were intended to live.  Let me ask you this:  would you rather have control over your life, or give that control to some arbitrary person(s) who doesn't know you from Adam?  When you live with intention you control everything, whether you believe it or not.  When you throw intention to the curb you are allowing others to control almost every aspect of your life.  Now it doesn't take a Brain Surgeon to realize what is the better option.

As an Infinite Being you have no end.  You have always been and will always be.  Why not walk in this and finally experience the life you were intended to have?  I am intention.  I am abundant.  I am blessed.  I am that I am.  Begin to let this sink in my friends.  It is only when you accept the greatness within you that you will be able to walk in intention.  We believe we are mere mortals when that is the farthest thing from the truth.  We have been made to believe we are limited, and because of our acceptance of this premise we live a limited life.  I for one do not wish, nor do I intend to live a limited life.  You need to walk in intention.  If you could have it all, and I mean have it all, would you turn your back on it?  Sadly most people do this every day of their life.  They don't believe, nor can they even comprehend having it all.  Living with intention is standing firm in your greatness, in your divinity, in your fullness.  Living with intention is saying to the rest of humanity that you and they alike are unique, one of a kind, totally able to have it all.

One word of warning:  if you think that having it all is going to make you better then someone else then you are operating in ego, and ego is never a part of intention.  We are all special created beings, and as such we are no better than anyone else.  Get rid of ego.  Allow love to be your driving force.  Show gratitude for all that you have, for all that you are, and for all those people around you who are there for a reason.

When you discover the power of intention your life will be dramatically changed.  When you discover the power of intention you will change the lives of others in dramatic fashion.  Believe it or not intention is flowing through your veins. Intention is who you are.  You were brought here to this existence through intention from that which created you.  You have the same creative ability as the Creator of the Universe.  Don't allow limiting believes that have been pushed down your throat to impede your ability to live a life of intention.  I get goose bumps when I think about intention.  I know this truth, and my intention is to live this truth.  I desire that each of you live this truth as well.  If you are looking for a change, then change the way you are looking at things.  My dear friends it is time to embrace the power of intention.  It is time to discover the power of intention.  When you walk  in intention you will never turn back, and turning back stops being an option in your life.  Move forward in intention and see what opens up for you.

Let the show begin.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/66733752@N00/21236283818
OK folks, it's show time.  It's time to show the world the real you.  It's time too dazzle, time to shine, time to step out into your purpose, your destiny.  It's time for the show to begin.  How many of you really believe this?  Or sadly, how many feel that your best years are behind you and the rest of your existence is just going to be a long journey of nothingness?  Well I'm here today to help turn things around, if it's needed, and set your feet on a path to utter enjoyment and happiness.  Now if that last statement does not put a smile on your face, I'm not sure anything will.

I've been re-reading Dr. Wayne Dyer's book, The Power of Intention.  If you have never read it, I suggest you pick it up and read it, time and time again.  It will change the way you think about things.  It will change the way you talk about things, and it will change your life.  But I digress.  I had the opportunity to read it several years ago, going through it three times back to back.  When my husband and I were planning our move from Maine to Texas, Spirit prompted me to re-read it.  Now having read it over and over before, foolish me felt as if I had garnered all I could from it.  Boy was I wrong!  I am now on my fifth read through this session,  and I just may go for an even half dozen.  I had forgotten the power of setting the intention.  I had forgotten that I am the power behind the throne. I had forgotten that it's show time and I needed to be on center stage directing the happenings in my life.

We do not have to settle for any one's leftovers.  We don't have to do something simply because we feel we have no alternative.  We are the masters of our domain, and unless you abdicate this position, it will always be yours.  Quite frankly I was tired of simply settling for things the way they were.  I had gotten to the place where I was playing the victim card with everything that was going on around me.  I was not in the best place and I knew better then to stay in this place for very long.  I use the term victim not to gain sympathy but rather to say that I needed to accept more responsibility for my own actions and place no blame on others for what I was going through.  I had to face the truth that I had indeed abdicated my position of dominance in life and I needed to take center stage again, after all the show must go on.

Are you ready to finally take the stage and be the star of your own story?  It's time that each of us accept the role we were always intended to play in life.  We all have a choice to make when it comes to being the star in our own play.  You can simply blend into the background or you can carve your own star in the walk of fame.  My question to you is which option are you going to reach for? I am forever amazed at those who want it all, but refuse to understand that you already have it all.  Most people who are experiencing lack in their life are experiencing it because they really don't believe that there is any other way to live.  They have abdicated that position of abundance because they don't understand that they are already abundant without regard to what may be present in their life at the moment.  There are so many people that are simply acting out a role in life because most don't like the reality of who they are, and portraying something else is less threatening.  I want to star in my own biography, a truthful tale of who I am, with no fiction attached to it.  The question I have for you is do you want this as well?  Do you want to be true to self or portray to others what you think they want or expect to see from you?  The choice is all yours, and only yours.

It's show time my friends, and it's your time to show the rest of the world just who and what you are.  In the total scheme of things in life, living your true life is really the only option you should be looking at.  When you are free to be yourself, you are free to be anything your heart desires, and the desires of the heart are what you were always intended to be.  There is absolute freedom when you can accept the premise that you will be what you were intended to be.  Have you ever just wanted to have a blank page in the book of your life and have the opportunity to write any story you can imagine?  Guess what?  You do!!  Your life should be anything you desire it to be, because desire was placed in you since the beginning of time.  You were never intended to go through life not having what your heart desired.  This is a simple truth, but a truth that most people simply do not believe in.  It's time that you start believing, start living in what you believe, and take the stage and be the real you.

Let your show begin, and show others the true way of living.  Let your show begin and start enjoying every minute of your existence.  Let your show begin and step out on center stage and walk in the spotlight.  I assure you that being the star will bring you excitement.  It will bring you joy.  Being on center stage will allow you to share happiness with others, and that happiness will do more for you than anything else in the world.  It's time to let others into your show of show, and it's time to be the director, producer, and star of the life you have always wanted.  When you start living your authentic life you will never look back and wonder where life went, and you will want to continue on forever.

Loving me is loving you.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/51035555243@N01/46938546084
They say that music is the universal language.  I'd like to believe that love is the universal unifier.  Love is something that many look for all of their lives, and yet few people are able to really live love because they find it so hard to love themselves.  It seems to me that loving who and what you are should be so simple and yet it seems that so many, many people are unable to do this. Why is that so?

I want to spell out some of the impediments to self love, and maybe dispel some of the myths of self love.  Sadly some people feel that self love is nothing more than conceit.  Loving who and what you are is not conceit; in actuality it is imperative if you are ever going to fully walk in your destiny and be the one thing you were always intended to be.  I've said this so many times in the past but today I will say it again in an attempt to get you to really let it sink in.  If you are unable to love yourself then you will never ever be able to love someone else 100 percent, nor will you be able to receive someone else's love 100 percent.  One of the reasons I'm able to love our dog Lucy so much is because she only knows unconditional love.  When she gives me all of her love it's impossible for me not to love her back.  Unconditional love is just that, unconditional.  Lucy does not love me because of what I do for her, except when she knows a treat is coming, then the tail really starts to wag, but I digress.  She loves unconditionally because that is her nature.  What is your nature when it comes to love?  Sadly many people base their understanding of love on past love, or lack thereof.  How you love is never ever going to be able to be measured by the love you have experienced in life.  Love has to be based on your own love for you.  I'll say it again, you have to love you, I mean really love you, then and only then will you be able to experience real love from someone else.

I love my husband unconditionally.  Certainly there are days when I want to wipe him off the face of the earth, as I am human, but the love I have for him is endless.  Some say we are soul mates, I agree, but even soul mates have to know true self love to give true love, and that all starts with recognizing the real you.  I may be repeating the same thing over and over again, but the key to this whole thing we call love is looking yourself in the mirror each day and telling yourself how much you love you.  At first this simple exercise may seem trivial and ridiculous, but I assure you it will start something that will change your life.  After so many years I can finally say I love me.  I fought feelings of regret in the past.  I rolled around in a pit of despair in regards to how I saw my future.  There was even a time when I wanted to simply fall asleep at night and not wake up the next morning.  I know that during these moments I was not loving who I was, and that is a dangerous place to be.  I love me more now than ever before.  It has taken me years to get to this point, but I will tell you that my life has changed.

Many times I get the question of how do you love yourself?  The first step is to  understand the significance of your being.  You need to accept that your design is perfection because you being here right now is in the perfection of the universe.  You are not here by mistake.  If you can accept the premise of your perfection then you can start accepting that you are love, created out of love and for the purpose of giving and accepting love.  The intention of the Universe brought you here and it is in this intention that you must live.  Living in intention is what love is all about, and this love is what will allow you to love unconditionally and loving unconditionally will teach you to love yourself.

Our worth is not in what we have obtained in life, or what we have accomplished.  Our worth is in fact who and what we are.  Once you understand the significance of your own being, then and only then can you love who you are, and then you can receive love from others.  "Loving me is loving you" is a statement.  It says that when I love me I can love you.  There is no other way to live, if living is what you truly desire.  When you look into that mirror what do you see?  If you see all your past hurts, or failures, you are not seeing the real you.  Past hurts and failures are lessons that should have taught you something.  Look past the past and see who you really are.  If you can begin to love you simply because you are you, then and only then will you experience the love that is there for you.

I love me because I want and desire to love others, and receive love from others.  Love is the center of all that we are, all that we hope to be, and all that we should be focused on.  If you can love yourself unconditionally then you can change the world.  Experiencing true love begins with you.  Knowing true love is knowing that I am love, and knowing that I am love allows me to love you and experience true love to the fullest extent possible.  If you want to experience the warm and fuzzies of love then wrap your arms around yourself and tell yourself how much you love you.  When you can see all of your greatness then you will begin to see the greatness in others.  You were not placed here to be alone, but being alone is what you will experience until such time as you accept your own love for you.  Life is great as long as you understand your own greatness.  It's never too late to turn things around.  Begin to see what is reflected back at you from the mirror and love what you see.  You are one of a kind, and no one can do what you were created to do.  It all begins with love because your beginning was because of love.

It's all up to you.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/78592755@N06/10300736516
Some people seem to leave everything in life up to chance.  Others, have everything planned out to the smallest and simplest details, leaving absolutely nothing to chance.  There's a group of people who try to straddle both, not quite sure what the correct path is for anything.  In actuality your life is your life, and whatever happens in your life is entirely up to you.  Now there will be those who will argue about this until the cows come home, but facts are facts.  We create our own reality by the words we speak, the feelings we hold on to, and the thoughts we have at any given moment.  What I want you to think about today is what kind of life have you created for yourself.

We as humans, at least many of us, try as hard as we can to please those around us.  Now there's all kinds of reasons for this.  Some people simply want to be accepted and will do just about anything to fit into the cool crowd.  Others will do anything to be different, as if being different is being different at all since so many people have the same idea.  No matter where you fall on the scale it's always best to simply be yourself and don't worry what everyone else is doing.  Being true to yourself is really the only option you have if you want to experience life to the fullest.  Being true to yourself is really the only option you have if you want to walk in your destiny and fulfill the purpose for you being here.  Given the option to be the real you or simply be what others want you to be, what option do you think would be a better fit for you?

I spent the better part of my youth always looking for approval from others.  To be honest I did so many things in my life simply because I felt others would see what a great job I did and I would finally get the recognition I thought I deserved.  Yes I was very successful at most things, but truth be told not much of what I did was for me.  As much success as I had during my formative years, I still had an emptiness inside of me, and that void was not going to be filled by the praise and accolades I received from other people.  Granted I see that clearer today, and not so much back then when I was trying to please everyone else.  Here's the best rule of thumb:  be you, just you, and for you.  So many people will feel as though that when you do for yourself that is nothing more than just selfishness.  On the contrary, when you focus on you that is selflessness.  If you never focus on you then you are never going to realize how significant you are to the rest of the universe.  Far too many people see themselves as insignificant, and that is simply setting yourself up for failure.

I want to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and start focusing on what is going to make you happy.  Start focusing on those things that are going to really bring you fulfillment.  Start seeing yourself as the center and not just someone who walks around the outside of things hoping that someday they will be in the middle of things.  If you are spending all of your time trying to fit in, you are going to be one unhappy camper when things seem to go all whacko on you.  What are the chances that you will always be able to do things in life that are going to make everyone happy?  It's highly unlikely that you are going to be able to do the right thing for everyone else especially when most of those other people haven't a clue as to what they really want in life.  Start focusing on you.  Start doing what makes you happy.  Begin to live the life you were intended to live and stop worrying what others might think or might say about your decisions.  There are millions of opinions out there from other people who have zero idea of who you really are, so why in the world would you ever feel as though you need to listen to those opinions?

How you live your life is totally up to you.  What you do next is totally up to you.  How you see things is totally up to you.  Stop giving in to what others think, and simply do what you know.  When it's all said and done you control you.  You can't blame others for the decisions you make so why not make decisions based on what is best for you and not someone else?  You can help others but stop helping others because you feel you have no other choice.  You always have a choice and I would recommend that you start making choices that are going to benefit you.  There is a time when helping others, being there for others, is appropriate, but if you have not taken the time to fill up your own tank, you will not have what it takes to help someone else.

Figure out those things that make you happy and go after them.  We only have a finite amount of time that we inhabit this body of ours.  If you are wasting time worrying about what others think about you then you are never going to get to the point in life where you are truly happy and content. It really is up to you how you are going to live your life.  Start living by loving who you are.  Start living life by loving where you are.  Be content and show appreciation and gratitude for all the many blessings that are present in your life.  I love being able to write.  I love my husband, and I love our dog Lucy.  Those three things are the center of my life and I would not trade them for all the money in the world.  Find what makes you happy and never let go of those things.  Trust me, life is supposed to be and adventure, and with each new adventure be sure to show gratitude.  If you will show gratitude the Universe will reward you with other opportunities for gratitude.  It then becomes a win, win situation, and who doesn't like to win in life?

It's up to you what happens next.  Speak words of love, light, and happiness.  If you want joy, sow seeds of joy.  If you want contentment, throw out thoughts of contentment.  You create the world around you, start accepting this universal law, and start living the way you were always intended to live.  If you want change, be that change you are looking for.  It's time to enjoy who and what you are.  If you will focus on you, if you will realize that it's all up to you, then you will be living a blessed life and others will be blessed because of you taking a stand.  Get going now and live like there is no tomorrow.

Live the life you were always intended to live!

It doesn't really matter how old you are at the moment, it's never too late to live the life you were always intended to live.  We all know that life has a way of changing direction, throwing us a curve, or simply not measuring up to what we thought it was going to be like.  I'm here today to let you know that you can have joy and happiness in all that you do, in all that you are, and in all that you imagine.  It might not seem possible in light of what you may have gone through as a younger person, but all of the past was your teaching ground.  Now is the time to take what you have learned and use it to improve the lives of those around you, and that includes yourself.

When we were just wee little tykes there weren't a lot of things that we worried about.  We were pretty much assured that we were going to be fed when we got hungry.  Our constant crying would see to that.  We would get changed when we peed or pooped our diapers.  We would constantly have older folks oohing and awing over us and telling us what cute little things we were.  Somewhere down the line we forgot what it was like to have that child like faith and we began to let the world dictate to us how we would feel at any given moment.  There in lies where we went wrong.  Not only did we stop living like a child, but we stopped believing like a child and we lost our innocence.  I know we've been told all of our lives that we needed to grow up and start acting our age.  Well I guess the rebel in me is about to come out again, because to be blunt I refuse to act my age and I will never, and I mean never grow up.

My Granddaughter Madison turns one today.  Do you think she is worried about what college she is going to attend?  Do you really think she's worried about what she is going to wear to the High School reunion and what people will think about her?  The only thing Madison has on her mind is what kind of fun and new experiences will she discover today, and when will she be free to just run around the house getting into whatever it is that she wants to get into.  This is the mindset each of us should have every day of our lives, and screw what others think, or what others say.  I absolutely despise when someone has the unmitigated gall to tell me they know what I'm thinking.  No you don't!  Unless you have lived my exact life, done everything the same way that I did, there is no way that you know what I'm thinking or feeling.  Yes I know they are saying this to be kind, but being kind and being stupid are two different things, but I digress.

If the weight of the world has got you down, why not shed the weight of the world and simply walk away from it?  I know some will wonder how to do this, and others will say that it's impossible to just walk away, after all they have responsibilities.  Just because you have responsibilities doesn't mean they have to dictate how you live your life and how you see your life.  I'm telling you that we need to start looking at life through the eyes of that young child.  We need the joy of being a child to be back front and center in our lives.  We need to laugh and have fun like a little kid.  Being all serious and stressed out is never going to bring joy into your life, and a life without joy is really not a life is it?

When's the last time you had a really good day?  A really good day could mean different things to different people, but imagine a day where you weren't worried about the bills, the condition of the car, the amount of work you still had complete with little or no time to complete it in.  Think about a day where you were free to do anything.  Think of a day with zero restrictions.  Think of a day that knew nothing but absolute peace, joy, and happiness in it.  What would you do with a day like this?  What would life be like for you if all you experienced on any given day was peace, joy, and happiness?  Sadly there are so many who can't even imagine a day like this.  Well maybe it's time to realize that peace, joy, and happiness is what you were designed for, what you were designed around, and what you were designed to walk in at all times.  We have let our surroundings, our upbringing, and our own expectations of things to dictate what our future looks like.  I can sit here and think about all the things I don't want in my life, but if I'm focusing on the things I don't want, I'm not focusing on all the things I already have, and the things I should be grateful for having in my life.

Whether you believe it or not, we create our own reality.  If you want to have the life of peace, the life of joy, the life that every single person on your street is envious of, maybe you should start by setting the intention that you shall have all of it.  Let me tell you that there is plenty to go around, as the universe has an endless supply of peace, joy, and happiness.  Why someone would want to be void of these things is beyond me, but it really is there for you in a supply that is unending.  When I lay down to fall asleep each night, and when I get up each morning I think about intention, and that I am part of intention.  I am it, and it is me.  I feel it in my body, my mind, my heart.  Certainly there are moments in my day when I am not focused on intention, but I am quickly reminded that I need to get back to intention.  I do not want for anything because I have it all.  When one is focused on what they don't have, they are incapable of being thankful for all the good things that they do have.  Life is not what you have, life is all about who you are.  You are peace, joy, and happiness.  Living a life void of these things is not really a life, is it?  My good friends it's time we start living the life we were always intended to live, and once you make that determination to do just that, life changes in remarkable ways.

If your life needs a pick-me-up, let me know and I'll give you one.  I love writing, and I love talking about destiny, and why you need to discover yours.  I get to do what I love, and please know that I totally love what I do.  You deserve to have the very same thing in your life.  You were intended to from the beginning of time to know nothing but peace, love, joy, and happiness.  If you are not experiencing all of these, then we need to make some adjustments.  Trust me, when you reach out to the universe for more of these things, they will come in such a fashion that they will overtake you.  Live the life you were intended to live, and share it with others.  Trust me on this, you will never look back and regret a thing.
