This week's blog is all about taking a step back, and just enjoy the fact that you are alive, you are present in this moment, and that you have some incredible things that are about to happen to you. This week's blog is all about you, and for you. This week's blog is an invitation to enjoy life a little bit more, rest easy knowing that things are coming together, and most of all, knowing that you are a total wonder.
No one has to be reminded what the past few years have been like. Some have been challenged, some have been hurt, others have been lost. There have been quite a few days where it was hard to find anything to smile about. Feelings ran rampant with doubt, fear, trepidation, and for some just a feeling of asking "why?" But now is the time to find peace, to celebrate the victories that have come, and yes there are victories, even if you have to be reminded about them. It is time to celebrate, for celebration means an acceptance. When we accept things we own it, when we own it we can't deny them. Why is owning something so important? When we can acknowledge something, when we can accept and own something, then it becomes real to us. When things become real, they have substance. When things have substance, then they are more easily believed. When things are believed, then they are lived!
Even with all the things are going on around the world right now, in this country, I find myself more peaceful than I have ever been. I find myself resting more in things than I have ever done. I find myself just enjoying life more. Why? Well the answer to that question is pretty simple, the alternative sucks. Given the option to be at peace, or be in turmoil, what makes you smile? If you had to choose lack or prosperity, what would you choose? If you could only be sick or healthy, what say you? In reality we really only have one choice to make. In reality we have a fifty/fifty chance of picking right, or picking wrong. In reality, we do make our own reality. Remember, we were created to create. Living to react all the time, is not living. Living to create, now that is where the excitement comes in. Living to be the real you, that's when the fun begins. Living to bless others, well that's the icing on the cake.
Here's what I'd like you to do today: take a series of deep breaths, let them in and out, and say "I am blessed." Sit back today with a nice hot cup of tea and simply realize that you have nothing to worry about. What is about to take place, has to take place. We are in the perfect time, and perfection is what is about to take place. So many people have been holding on to feelings of doom and gloom. Too many people have felt panic, stress, and a sense of dread. It's time to get set free from all of these, and instead walk in peace. You are the only one that can make the decision to find peace, and peace is no further away than your acceptance of that peace. I've purposely have not watched a lot of news lately, as most of the news is nothing more than fodder for those who know no better. As I write this morning I am every bit aware of my surroundings . I am aware that I control my feelings, my emotions. As I write this morning I am so happy that I am the creator, and that I have control of everything. It is time to celebrate, and it does not matter what is going on around you. It is time to laugh, to smile, to enjoy. Yes there are going to be times when we are going to have to be reminded to smile, to laugh, but that is what I am attempting to do for you this morning. I want you to find peace. I want you to find that very special place where you know that you are right where you need to be.
Not all celebrations are huge events, although, there's nothing wrong with big events. Often our celebrations might only involve ourselves. We might celebrate little victories, victories that only we know about. No matter the size of the victory, a victory, is a victory. If your victory is simply getting through a day where you don't want to run someone over with your car, then celebrate that victory. If your victory is that you finally overcame something, then shout that from the mountain tops. Your celebrations are what ever you decide to make them, the point is to have them in the first place.
If you can celebrate the little victories, then I promise you the big one will come. If you can allow peace to flood over you, then you will also be equipping yourself to handle anything that might be thrown at you. We have to learn to celebrate things daily. Always remember that like brings like. If we can celebrate little things, we open the door for bigger and better to come in. If you can't find it in yourself to celebrate the little victories, you might now have to worry about finding other things to celebrate, as they probably will not manifest in your life. I don't say that to scare you, I say that to warn you. Naysayers will continue to be without. Doubters will continue to doubt, and fear mongers will continue to spew out fear to others around them. It is time to walk away from fear, it's time to let go of doubt, and it's really time to celebrate our existence. Please try to remember that you are here right now because there are things that you need to do, for others around you. There are people who are dependent on you doing what you were born to do. You may never know their names, or know what they look like, but they are there, and they need you. We might not have all the answers right now, we might not know what is around the corner, but we do know that we are here for a reason.
So it's time to celebrate. Even if there are people around you who have no idea why there should be celebration of any kind, you celebrate. You set the tone, you decide the future. If we can be positive, if we can be light to others, that light and positivity will grow. Let you light shine for others to see. Let your light be a healing force for others. Let you light be the catalyst that starts a celebration revolution. It only takes one person to begin a movement. If many will begin to celebrate, then many more will follow, and let's face it, the world could use some celebration right about now. Think about it.....
