What I want to do this morning is give you a new hope. Provide you with a, let's call it, a crutch. A means to get through all of this and not lose track of who and what you are, what we are as a human beings. It's real easy to forget the simplest facts, or truths, when you are faced with what appears to be insurmountable odds. It's even more difficult to remember who and what you are when you are out of work, bills are mounting, and there are no real answers being given as to when will all of this end. Just clear your mind for a few moments and let what I am about to share to sink in. When you can find rest in the place you are at, then things will change even in a period of rest.
I love lions. They are one of the, if not the most, majestic animals I know. They really don't take crap from anyone, and if anything has free reign, it's the lion. Go out into the wild and try to tell the Head of the Pride to do something. If we are going to get through this crisis, and we will, then we are going to have to become the head of our Pride, and own things like the lion owns things. One of the reasons that a lion is so incredibly suited to be the King, is that the lion is extremely confident in who he or she is. There's no doubt in the lion's mind who is King. There's no doubt in the lion's mind what they are capable of. When you no longer doubt your capabilities, when you no longer think of yourself as something small and insignificant, then you will take your rightful place as Head of the Pride.
We are in uncertain times, and I get how much worry and strife might be trying to settle into your life. What I need you to do is take a step back and try to remember all the qualities you have that separate you from those who will never understand the significance of their creation. It's so easy to fall into the trap of fear and uncertainty. It's even easier to fall into the mindset that you have no choice but to accept what is going on all around you. Hey I'm not immune to any of this, and I have to remind myself daily that I am a majestic creature, just like a lion, and my kingdom is any place my feet take me. We are reminded that we hold our head up high, even when we are walking in the midst of a storm. Do you think a lion is going to go out for a hunt with its tail between its legs? The success of the lion's hunt is all dependent on the mindset of the lion before the hunt begins. The lion knows it will bring home the kill, and you need to know that you will bring back the spoils of war. Not everything in life is going to be a battle, but when you enter the fray, you have to expect that you are going to come out of it victorious.
My main point this morning is to get you to stop looking at what is on the television, what is being said all around you, and simply believe and hold on to what you know to be truth. You are a lion, you are able to walk above all the worry, all the strife, all the fear, and all the doubt. You do not need to accept what others feel is certainty. You can stay clear of all the worry.
I know I talk, or write about, who we are as created beings. I do this because without this solid foundation of knowing the real you, you will fall for all the garbage that is being thrown out there for everyone else to consume. Jesus, as an illuminated being, knew who he was, what he was, and what he had in terms of power. I don't mean power in the sense of what others do to trample over other people, but power in the ability to create anything and everything. Just as the lion is aware of his/her ability, you must also understand what has been placed in you. You must come to terms with your divinity. You must begin to accept the truth of your existence, and why you are here in this moment. There is no such thing as coincidence when it comes to the universe. Things always happen for a reason, and you being here right now is in the perfection of the universe. We must begin to take our rightful place, and begin to act as if we finally believe in who and what we are. Trying or perilous times call for clarity of vision. When we face a crisis we have to step into our role as Head of the Pride. No one can make you take a position you don't want, but at the same time no one can take a position that has always be meant for you.
I often wonder what is the best way to end my blog each week, and each week I try to share a thought that I feel will keep you centered for the week ahead. This week I just want to encourage you to go deep into yourself and try to feel the lion in you. You are a majestic creature, and you do have reign over all things around you. Once you step into your role as Head of the Pride there will be very little that will deter you from doing what you know has to be done. Once you accept your role as Head of the Pride doors will open, opportunities will appear, things will change. Once you honor yourself for being the Head of the Pride, ego will go away, fear will subside, and confidence will flow from you like the water from a stream. Be a lion my friends. Stand in your power. Walk in the knowledge that you are a creator. I promise you this: when you understand who and what you are, things will never be the same. Stand in this knowledge, walk in this truth, and begin to change those things around you that have perplexed others. You are divine, majestic, and unstoppable. Now go out there and tame the world.
