How to be free from the chains that bind us. Part 1

I had a wild weekend, not from the stand point of too many fun things to do, but rather I had a huge project that needed to get done.  I would work on it for a few hours, take a break, and then hit it again.  During my short periods of relaxation I would watch a little television and inevitably I would see something that reminded me of the ups and down that many people face in their everyday life.  As a light worker I have to guard myself from picking up the negative or lower energies that many people carry around with them because of the garbage they are going through.  That is no easy task as there are so many people who are at their wits end trying to figure out this thing we call life.  It is because of this that I want to tackle a tough topic today, but one that will hopefully change the way you look at things, and thereby change the way you go about your daily life.

As humans we face what may appear to be insurmountable odds from time to time.  Now whether these things we face are self-made, illusions, or otherwise, the fact remains, they get in the way of us becoming the person we were destined to be.  We have allowed chains to wrap around us and then we have the unenviable task of carrying them around with us, only adding to the burden we are already carrying.  What I want you to see today is there is a way to rid yourself of these chains and it will take nothing more than changing the way you see them.  Now this solution may seem simple and to many almost crazy.  Heck, if getting rid of the chains that bind us were that simple, then why haven't people already done it?  The answer to that question is quite simple:  most people don't understand that it is that simple and because of that they have allowed these chains to drag them down.

First, if you believe that the Creator of the Universe is perfect, then you must also believe that anything that comes from the creator is also perfect.  Now let me stop here and make a statement just in case someone wants to argue the last point with me.  I am not saying that we as humans are perfect, what I am saying is that our design is perfect and the calling on our lives is also in the perfection of Spirit.  If we are perfect and our calling is perfect, then why would God ask us to do something that we would not have the ability or talent to do?  The answer is, God wouldn't, so the only conclusion is, is that we do have the gifts and talents to do those things we have been designed to do.  Now let's take it one step further and I think you will begin to see where I am going with all this.  If we have a calling on our life, and whether you believe that or not does not matter, because everyone has a calling, then you must understand that you have the ability to accomplish this calling. God is not in the business of having people do things just to have them fail. Failure is not in God's nature and if it is not in God's nature then it did not come from God.  We have to get away from the Story Book characterization of God that says he is up in some celestial kingdom just waiting to throw down a lightening bold to zap your butt because we may have messed up something.  The way the world has portrayed God is wrong and the sooner you understand that the sooner you can throw away all the garbage that has come from over zealous people just trying to control you.

The chains that bind most people are creations of other people who quite frankly don't have a clue as to what is real or make believe, and the things we allow into our own minds as to what is real and what is not.  Illusions are not real, and to be perfectly frank, most of those things that we see as roadblocks or obstacles are in fact illusions.  As hard as it may be to comprehend, we get in the way of our forward progress by believing in things that don't exist.  Sure they seem real, but in reality it is nothing more than a mirage.  They appear to be real but when you reach that oasis in the desert you find out that it is nothing more than more sand.  Let me end with this, and on Wednesday we will take it one more step.  When you understand the real nature of the Creator you will be able to see that most of what we content with does not come from God but from the conditioning that man has put us through since the beginning of time.  Man says we have to have fear.  Man says we have to be tried.  Man says we have to fail.  None of these statements are true, and once you realize this, then you will be able to determine what is an illusion and what is not.

The chains that bind us are man made.  The chains that bind us are brought on because we have yet to discover how perfect we are and in that perfection what we are able to do.  The chains that bind us are nothing more then smokescreens put there to get us off track.  Trust me when I say that when you finally can accept these facts, things will turn around for you and the chains that bound you for so long will fall to the ground no more to hold you captive.

I wish I could take more time to say more today, but I have a very wise person who has threatened me to within an inch of my life if I get too wordy.  You will just have to read the next edition and we will take this one step further.  Until then think about what I have said and ask yourself this very simple question:  Are you tired of falling prey to man's imperfect ways and are you ready to try something new?  If the answer is in the affirmative, then I have good news for you, things will change for you and change in a very big way.
