The Power of "Forever"

 "OMG, she takes forever getting ready".  "I've been waiting forever on hold." "I'll love you forever." We've all made comments like these.  We've probably all had thoughts like these one time or another.  We talk about forever.  We think we've been in the drive-thru forever.  We think we know what it means, but do we really.  Do we really understand the word forever, and do we really have a true understanding of how significant forever is to each of us?  Well today we are going to dive right in, and I am going to attempt to put the word forever into a new perspective for you, and in doing so, bring you into a new place of discovery.  so get your coffee, sit back, and enjoy. 

One might ask why the sign for infinity? Well the answer to that question is pretty simple.  Infinity has no end.  Then again it has no beginning, and hence the meaning of the word forever.  If you believe in an eternal spirit or soul, then you believe that you will go somewhere when you die.  The common response is that someone is going to live "Forever" in heaven, or in some cases hell.  No matter you final destination, we would have to all agree that forever is a very long time.  But when does forever start?  If we go on the premise of a heaven and hell, does forever start tomorrow, and then on to eternity?  Or did forever start yesterday and we just didn't know it?  If forever started yesterday, why not the day before that, or the day before the day before?  It all sounds pretty "who cares", but in reality your understanding of forever is extremely important, and the sooner you grasp the significance the sooner you can take your rightful place in the universe. 

Let's back track a little and cover some information that we have talked about before, yet some people seem to forget, which is the major cause of issues in most people's lives.  We are first and foremost Spiritual beings.  Our spirit is eternal, it is infinite.  It has no beginning and no end, it has always been, and will always be.  It is the true definition of infinite.  If our spirit is infinite, which it is, and if our spirit is what is really the reality of things and not this flesh and blood vessel that we occupy, which it is, then why in God's name would we not want to know as much about our spirit as is humanly possible?  This is the power of "Forever".  

Why am I talking about this subject?  We have forgotten how significant we are.  We have forgotten the power that resides inside each of us.  A power so great, that we can't even quantify it.  We can, and we do create all of our tomorrows by what we say and think today.  We set-up our successes, and our failures,  by what we say and think today.  It is so important for you to grasp this concept.  Failure to recognize the power of your thoughts, your words, will keep you frozen in a place that quite frankly no one should want to be in.  This Power of Forever is the single most important gift that you could ever have been given.  You were given the Power of "Forever" because you were created for such a time as this.  I see people every day who have fallen victim to what others expect of them.  They have accepted all the limitations that others have said is just normal.  Well what is normal to them should never be normal to you.  I can't stress enough the importance of you coming to terms with the real you.  If you can't see the infinite side of who you are, then no amount of desire, no amount of professing is going to place you where you want to be.  

I've been thinking, praying, meditating on me with a vengeance the last few months.  I've taken the deep dive to understand my true self.  It wasn't that I was unfamiliar with who I am, I just wanted to know more, feel more, understand more.  I wanted to to take things to a different, higher level.  Now don't think for a moment that I feel superior to anyone else.  Once you realize the significance of your being, then where you end up on the totem pole means nothing.  We are all equal, we are all the same.  The simple truth of the matter is that some people just get to where they need to be little faster, or sooner than others.  What I need you to do today is simply understand the Power of "Forever", and how this knowledge will fundamentally change your life forever.  

Elton John made famous the song "Circle of Life".  I was thinking about this the other day, and when I put two and two together I had a real "Aha" moment.  Just like infinity, a circle has no beginning and no end.  In life we are born, we live, and then we die.  It is going to be this way for every single person.  The difference comes in as to how we see this circle.  I tend to see it as a continuation of all things past, present, and future.  If a circle has no beginning and no end, then is there really a difference between past, present, and future?  Cosmic, right?  Think of it this way, and I hope this gets you really thinking.  If life truly is forever, if it has no beginning and now end, then is there really a difference between what has been, what is now, and what will be?  I've got to tell you that my mind is running at about a million miles per second as I think on these things.  When I begin to grasp the Power of "Forever", when you begin to see what is real, and what is not, things change.  

If you want to talk about a shift, and there are many who have been talking about it for some time, then this shift needs to be all about the Power of "Forever", and how you relate to it. Knowing and understanding what you are is critical at this junction.  If you continue to think that you are merely a human, restricted by all human frailties, subject to all human limitations, then you will never be able to move past the present, and take your rightful place in the universe.  

I know there is much more to write about when it comes to understanding the Power of "Forever", and who knows, maybe I've found the title to my next book. but no matter where you find yourself in this moment, it's important, it's critical, that you put yourself in the proper spot.  When you begin to understand that you have no beginning, no end, when you begin to see your true significance, you will begin to operate in the only way you were always intended to operate.  Believe it or not, there are no limits when it comes to your power, to your abilities.  The only thing limiting you is your belief, or disbelief in your abilities.  The Power of "Forever", is unlimited.  Take a few minutes to think about what you have read today.  Find a quiet place and simply allow this to sink in.  From time to time there comes a time when each of us will have a decision to make, and this decision will directly impact what comes next.  If you will decide to accept the real you, if you will accept that you have no limits, that you are in fact infinite and will be around forever, then you will begin to feel, begin to experience some pretty remarkable things.  I encourage you to dig deeper, come to your own understanding.  The Power of "Forever" was meant for you, and it wouldn't matter if you were the only person to ever have existed, or you're simply one of the billions upon billions of people who have come before, and will come after you. The Power of "Forever" is about you, for you, and believe it or not, in you.  

When it all begins.

Last week we talked about where all things begin.  This week I want to piggy back on that theme and talk about when it all begins.  There are countless people waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting some more for their ship to come in.  Waiting for fortunes to change.  Waiting for this or that.  What I want to accomplish today is just to shed some light on something you may never have thought about, or at least haven't thought about for some time.  First and foremost, we were created in God's image.  I guess what has to happen first is we have to understand God, and what the motivation was behind our creation.  As I have said countless times we were created to create.  We were never intended to simply react to things.  We have been given the power and the authority to create with our words, our thoughts, and our feelings.  That being said, when the light bulb finally goes on and you realize just how powerful you are, then and only then will you begin to see the significance of your creation.  

To answer the question of when, we have to step back and realize that you have always been, and will always be.  Just as there is no beginning or end to a circle, there is no beginning or end to you, as hard as that may be to grasp at times.  If you have always been and will always be, then there is never a time when things begins, they have just always been.  If things have always been, then what is meant for you has always been, and will always be.  Ideas in your mind, feelings in your heart, they are all here now, and will always be there.  Are you beginning to see the light?  We have to get away from the thought that sooner or later things will happens, when it actuality they have already happened. they happened long ago, and will happen years from now.  It is so crucial that you understand your power.  It is absolutely critical that you believe in your ability to create.  Failure to understand these two important facts will only slow, if not stop any movement forward for you.  Imagination is thought.  Thought is creative.  Creation is your task.  

My night time ritual is that I always read before bed.  Just after I close up the book, or in my case shut off the iPad, I take those last five minutes to simply think about me.  I take those last five minutes to set up the next eight hours of sleep.  I take the time to set up the next day.  I've also taken to asking to go deeper into my understanding of who I am, what I am.  I've started to take a leap into another dimension, and not simply see things in this dimension.  Now talking about a different dimension is going to send some people over the edge.  I need you to take a step back and simply listen.  When we get done today I think you will have a better understanding of what I am trying to share with you.  There are people who will only believe something when they see it with their own eyes.  Faith is believing without always seeing the evidence of something.  We believe in God, or at least most people do, and yet when was the last time you looked God right in the face?  Yes we see God in different things, but who has seen the face of God?  We need to tap into our spiritual side more, and in touching the spiritual we enter a new dimension.  We open ourselves up to new venues.  Once we start operating in different dimensions, once we start thinking from a different place, then we begin to see when things "began".  

When you begin seeing things as always being there, you never have to worry about what comes next, because what comes next has always been.  I know this may sound bizarre, it may seem impossible, but it is what needs to become your reality.  Once again reality isn't just what we can see with our natural eyes.  Reality is what has always been, and will always be.  Let's take a step back and just remember a few things.  Christ understood his true essence.  He walked in total illumination.  There was no doubt that occupied his thoughts.  What he felt he knew.  Well we are no different.  The only thing stopping you from operating in this illumination is you.  Sadly we have been conditioned to believe that we are limited.  We have been taught that suffering, or lack, or failure is our course in life.  Now hold on to your seats, because what I am about to say is going to send some people into a tail spin, but you have to know this truth if you are ever going to take your rightful place in the universe.  We are no different than Christ.  The abilities he displayed while on this earth are the same abilities we were born with.  Somehow throughout time we have adopted limiting beliefs.  We have stepped away from what has always been ours, and instead settled for what others have said is ours.  Today is a new day, and today you can change all things, past, present, and future simply by accepting your true essence.  I could go off on a tangent talking about the past changing, but that is a topic for a different day, and a topic that I will delve into later.  That being said, the most important fact for you to understand today is that you have all the abilities you need to totally walk in your destiny.

So the million dollar question is: when did it begin?  It began when you began, and we know that you never began, because you always have been.  Confusing?  It shouldn't be.  Look at it this way; if you have always been, then you have always had what you needed to do what you were sent here to do.  All you have to do is accept that you have what you need.  All you have to do is believe that you have the power to create.  All you have to do is walk beside the real you.  Limits don't exist.  It really is time to take a journey into what others have classified as the "Great Unknown", but what has always been known, yet slowing beginning to come into focus. 

There are many who will discount what they have been given, simply because they are unfamiliar with what they have been given, or better put, what they were born with.  It is well beyond time that you come to an understanding of what you were born with.  You came here with all manner of ability to create.  It is time that you accept who and what you are.  When you do that, you will understand where it all began, and when it all began.

Where does it all begin?  When did it all begin? Does everyone have the capacity to do it?  Just what are its limits, and when will we know when to use it?  These are all great questions, and these are questions that people have every day when we talk about imagination.  What I want to do for you today is lay a foundation.  This foundation is what will change your life forever, and in making these changes, you will see that you have always been, and that you will always be.   

First and foremost your imagination needs to be focused on things that bring you joy, that brings you happiness, and that brings you contentment.  If you find yourself focusing on things that bring you the opposite, stop!  Imagination is the building block on which all things become reality .  As crazy as that might seem to some, imagination is really the beginning point of everything we do, of everything we are.  Too many people discount their imagination.  I've found myself delving into the topic of imagination as of late.  It's not that I haven't used my imagination in the past, but what I hadn't been doing is realizing the significance of my imagination.  Once you come to an understanding of the power you have when it comes to imagination, you will begin to live the life you were always intended to live, and when that happens everything changes.  

Now some might call imagination simple thoughts.  Some might explain it as dreams, or even day dreaming.  No matter what time of day it is, whether you are asleep or awake, imagination is always a constant in your life.  The challenge we have is what do we focus on, and do we really believe that what we imagine is really something we are supposed to be focusing on.  Let me tell you that there is no limit to what you can imagine.  What happens to most people is they feel that it's impossible to have what they imagine.  If you take on this mindset I can assure you that the results will be less than stellar.  If you think about what is surrounding you today, everything began in someone's mind.  It all began with a single thought.  Surely it may have taken many people to bring something to fruition, but it all started with a single person, with a single thought.  We are always imagining, but what we aren't doing is believing in that imagination.  It's time to put some weight behind your imagination and see where it takes you. 

Many, many people have the mindset that imagination is just foolishness gone to seed.  How many times have we been told to get our heads out of the clouds?  How many times have we been told to stop dreaming and simply be?  How many times have we stopped before we even started? I can bet you that those people who discount dreams, those who throw away imagination, are the very same people who have yet to do what they really desire in life.  I cannot stress enough the importance of your imagination, especially when it comes to being the person you were always intended to be.  Just for a moment I want you to think about the perfect day.  I want you to imagine doing the things you love most in life.  Do these thoughts bring a smile to your face?  Do these thoughts bring you joy?  Do these thoughts bring you to a place where you can simply relax and know that all things are as they should be?  I cannot stress enough that you focus on those things that bring you that joy, peace, and happiness that we discussed earlier.  Why someone would want to focus on anything other than that is beyond me.  

Just as it's impossible to stop thinking, to stop having thoughts, it's impossible to turn off your imagination.  We have millions and millions of thoughts each day.  We also imagine throughout the entire day.  When I begin any writing project, be it a new book, or even this blog, I imagine people reading it, enjoying it, learning from it.  I imagine lives being changed.  Now can I determine at what point in time those lives will be changed?  Nope, but I can imagine it.  In my imagination people will discover their destiny, and they will walk in all those things that were meant for them.  I can imagine speaking to large and small groups.  I can imagine my production company putting out products that will change humanity one life at a time.  Do these thoughts bring me joy, oh yes they do.  Can I hold fast to these thoughts, oh most assuredly.  This is what imagination is all about, and this is what will usher in the change that I want to see around me. 

If you discount your imagination, you stifle any or all of what really should be taking place in your life.  Let me stress this one point.  There will be times when we imagine things that we really shouldn't. Thoughts of doom and gloom.  When you find yourself here you need to nip it in the bud.  We are all going to have thoughts from time to time that do not serve us well.  When that happens simply wipe the page clean, and move on.   We have the ability to move past thoughts thoughts and not continue to focus on them.  Yes there are people who love to stay in places where they only think of doom and gloom, but if you look at their lives they are probably miserable at best.  

Why is imagination so critical right now?  We are living in changing times.  We are living in a time where there are many things happening that we can't explain.  We are simply living in times that make things a little darker, a little bleachers, a little more unclear.  You do not need to give up on your dreams simply because others have given up on theirs.  You don't have to stop imagining good things because others have only focused on the doomsday scenario.  Living from your imagination is what will set your feet on the right path.  Living in your imagination is what will usher in the best times of your life.  Living in your imagination will bring you a peace that will never be able to be taken away from you.  

As unbelievable as it might sound, if you can imagine it, you can process it.  If you can imagine it, you can live it.  If you can imagine it, you will be it.  There are all kinds of sacred words that talk about thinking on things that are kind, things that are peaceful, things that are loving.  Why do you think it so?  If you focus on darkness then darkness will surround you.  If you focus on light, then light becomes your reality.  Given the choice, light or dark, what is the better choice?  Imagination is the starting point, it is the foundation.  A strong foundation is required any time you attempt to build something.  There are no limits to your imagination, so why not use it, and see where it takes you.

 Every now and again one needs to throw caution to the wind and let it rip.  Well that's what I am going to do today, and if I'm correct, there will be people who will be over joyed to read what I have to share.  Let me begin by saying that I normally do not spend  a lot of time talking about personal things on this blog.  I'm not here to promote myself, I'm here to help others discover who and what they are.  If during the course of what I do I feel it necessary to open up, I am more than willing to do that. Today just so happens to be one of those days.  There's one main reason why I'm writing about this subject this morning and that's because I'm weary of others who try to define others.  There are so many people who expect others to fit their definition of what is normal, of what is accepted, of even what some might call reality.  

We all have dreams.  We all have feelings.  We all have an inner knowing of who we are.  Problems arise when what we dream, what we feel, and what we know may go against what has been a long established belief system, or set or norms.  When what we feel about ourselves goes against said belief systems, that is when confusion comes in, and that confusion is nothing more than a smoke screen. Today I want to encourage you to stay the course, and never allow anyone to define you as something you are not.  We have stayed in the shadows for far too long, and today we draw the line in the sand and say "No Mas"  

I was taking an inventory of my life the other day, not because I felt I was missing something, but in order to recognize where I want to go.  I needed to know where I came from.  I realized that I had let fear control my life for so many years.  I had let my concern for what others might think, or might say, dictate my actions, or in some cases inaction.  I had spend years, and I do mean years worried about how others might accept me.  Those are years that I am never going to get back.  Now I could lament about that lost time, but then I would fall victim to man's concept of time, and we all know that time is an illusion.  I chalk it all up to learning experiences, and if in the end I learned, well then it was well worth the time spent.  There were so many years that I saw myself as the ugly duckling.  I couldn't understand why I saw things differently.  It wasn't that I wanted to be an antagonist, I just couldn't see the logic in some of the things that were coming out of other people's mouths.  Added to this, I was a gay teen in the Seventies, and let's face it, being gay in the 70's is not the same as today.  Where did I fit in?  I knew I was gifted spiritually, but how did that fit together with what others thought was a social abnormality, being gay.  I hid my true self, both spiritually, and sexually, because I was afraid of what others might say or think.  I allowed others to define me, and once you go down that road, it is extremely difficult to change course.  Let me make this very clear, and open your ears to this: no one has the right to define you, no way, no how.  You are, and have always been created in God's image, and no one, I repeat, no one, has the right to change what God has created.  It has taken me years to learn that valuable lesson, and now I attempt to teach this to others.

 If you know your true self, then be it.  If you feel a certain way, then walk it.  If you're a healer, heal.  If you're a seer, then speak the truth.  People run from those things they don't understand, but often what they don't understand are things that are truth to others.  I've tried to fit square pegs into round holes for years.  I knew what I wanted to do, but because it was contrary to the norm, I pushed things down.  Let's be real, a conservative, gay person, is not the norm, at least not normal is these days and times.  I'm so tired of people who refuse to accept what is outside of their definition of normal.  Normal is whatever is inside of you.  Normal is what you were created for. Screw what others feel is normal.  We tend to tread lightly on things we know to be truths, but we don't always acknowledge those truths to others because it is controversial.  To a christian it is devilish to believe in, let's say Tarot, or Oracle Cards.  To the atheist or agnostic, we shy away from our belief in a Creator called God.  We dare not speak of Jesus because there are so many who feel Christ is just a myth.  No matter what we believe, there is going to be someone who is going to find fault.  That being said, why not just ignore the fault finders, and be your authentic self?  

We cannot hide our true self to anyone, anymore.  It is time to be true to who we are, all the time, and all the way.  You are who you are because someone, somewhere, needs what you have.  We are here to change humanity, and humanity begins with helping a single person.  We cannot change the world if we are fearful of what others may think.  If you are tired of conforming to what others think is normal,  today is your day to take a stand.  Walk in your magic.  Stand in your uniqueness.  Listen to your heart, as your heart is the best part of you.  Your heart is what will show you the way, and your heart is incapable of steering you in the wrong direction.  It has taken me years to realize that I may never do what others do, but there are others who will never do what I do.  There are things I know very little about, so why try to impress someone with things I know nothing about.  I know about destiny, and so I choose to write about destiny.  Your gifts have been placed in you because there is always going to be someone who will need what you have.  No longer worry about how others see you.  If you will take a stand, if you will walk in your gifting, then you will change the world.

Today the Christian world Celebrates Resurrection Sunday.  Christ understood his uniqueness.  Christ walked in total illumination.  Christ desired that everyone walk in total illumination, and yet we have limited man because we have not understood what illumination is.  We need to be like Christ in as much as we understand that we are creators.  We need to understand that we are healers.  We need to understand that we are so much more than mere mortals.  Christ was the recipient of scorn from those in authority at the time.  Well if you walk in your uniqueness know that you are probably going to receive scorn from those in supposed "Authority" today.  Do not fear, you are in good company.  Sooner or later the world is going to realize that you are not crazy.  The world is going to learn that you are in fact a power magnet.  It's time that you accept your power, and walk in that power.  No one  has the right to define you.  As we take back our power, we will take our rightful place in the universe, and that rightful place is the place you were always intended to be in.  Take a stand, and know that you are not alone in the fight.
