When in the course of human events.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/182229932@N07/48536643967
We are made up of cells, of flesh, of blood, but we are so much more than that, and today I just want to remind you of who and what you really are.  We have faced many hurdles in our life, at least most of us have.  We have had to make decisions that were not always easy, and we had to do some things that we never thought we'd have to do.  When we get up each morning most people are not focused on the nature of who they are, they are simply thinking about the day ahead of them.  What I want to encourage you to do today is begin to focus on what is real, and steer way from all those things that really are just illusions.

I could take today's topic in a million directions, as there are countless things that we focus on, but in reality we should be focused on one thing, and one thing only: our perfection.  That's right I said perfection.  We are perfect.  We might not always operate in this perfection, but that doesn't diminish our perfection in the slightest.  Our design is not a mistake.  Our being here in this moment is not a mistake.  The sooner you are able to understand this important concept, the sooner you can take your rightful place in the universe.

How many of you are currently praying or hoping for something?  I dare say that there are very few people who aren't believing for something.  Maybe there are people who are hoping for a promotion.  Some might be desiring a new home, a new vehicle, or maybe just a week away from the daily grind, in an attempt to rest and rejuvenate.  No matter what one is looking for, there has to be an element of faith.  I guess that leads me to ask, what is faith?  We talk about faith, but how many people really operate in faith, and how many people really believe in faith?  You can say you have faith, but when coming up against insurmountable odds, do you maintain any real level of faith?  I know this may seem to be little off topic, after all we are talking about our make up, but just stick with me for a moment , and you will see where I am going with this.

If one were operating in a total understanding of who and what they really are, then they would have to come to the conclusion that they are the director of all that goes on in their life.  We are creators.  We determine the direction of our life.  We decide what is, and what isn't.  It is only when we walk away from our true nature, that we get off track.  When we get off track, we start to question things, and when we begin to question things, well we tend to get tripped up.  I have been there a thousand times in the past, and each time I have to remind myself just who and what I am.  Understanding that we are not mere mortals is really the foundation of what I am talking about.  It's so easy to go through each day, doing the same thing we have always done.  We get up in the morning, have a cup of coffee on the way to work, and then put in our 8 to 10 hours.  We get home from work, and we do pretty much the same thing day in and day out.  I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this, but if you feel as though you are in a rut, you probably have forgotten the real reason you are here right now.  The real reason you are here, the reason you were created, was to change humanity.  I've said this before, but I will say it again, you are not a mistake, and being here is not a mistake.  Changing humanity is something we have all been designed to do.  Those who think that changing humanity is simply trying to puff yourself up, haven't really understood just what being selfless is all about.  We might change humanity by simply greeting someone with a smile.  You don't know what that person is going through, and that smile just might be what they needed to make it through another day.  That smile is going to affect someone half a world away, 20 years from now.  That is still changing humanity, even if it only affects one person.  You might be the person who changes an entire continent.  Believe it or not there is no difference in changing one, or changing many.

Let's swing back around to the topic of perfection, and let's see if we can't wrap this up in a beautiful little bow.  When you are able to see yourself as you really are, and not what others think of you, not what you might think of yourself on any given day, but really see yourself as perfection, this is when life changes.  If we only see ourselves as flesh and blood, we are not really seeing the real us.  If we only see ourselves as what we might do for a profession, we are not really seeing the real us.  If you only see yourself through the eyes of circumstances, then you really have not seen the real you.  The real you is able to do all things.  The real you has power.  The real you is infinite.  Until such time as you can accept your true essence, you will always see yourself as simply human.  If all you do is see yourself as human, you will never ever accomplish those things you were sent here to do.

Life is amazing, and it becomes even more amazing when you begin to walk in your perfection.  Our make up is not, as I said before, just cells, flesh, blood, or any other human characteristic.  Our truest self is spirit, it is eternal, it is something that has always been, and will always be.  We have been told so many times who we are supposed to be, what we are supposed to do.  We have been told how to act, how to look.  What we haven't done is accept what we are, and in many cases why we are here.  There is not a single day that goes by that I do not feel a surge in my body.  This surge can only be defined as energy.  It is an energy that is tangible to me.  It's kind of like when you get goosebumps.  Even now as I write I am feeling this very thing.  When you can tap into this cosmic energy, this energy that is the same on the far side of the ever expanding universe, then you will begin to understand just how significant you are.  Those who close themselves off to this mindset, those who poopoo on the idea of our being more than just human, will never ever walk fully in their abilities.  Why, and I ask this question is all seriousness, why would one accept limits, when we are really limitless?

I leave you with this:  be open to signs.  Look for confirmation.  If you really desire to step out into your real being, simply look for signs that what I have written about today is really the truth.  The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, and your first step is nothing more than being open to new ideas, new ways of seeing things, and being willing to look past what you always thought was the only way.  Believe me when I tell you that walking in your fullness is truly a wonderful thing.  Once you begin this journey, you will never ever just think in human terms.

Inquiring minds want to know, is this really true?

http://www.flickr.com/photos/159248733@N04/40967091824
How curious are you?  What do you think about, what do you wonder about?  What is it that interest you, and why?  These are all good questions, and today I want to spur on maybe some new thoughts, and in doing so, get you to start thinking outside of the box.

You've all heard me say that we have been being conditioned by well intentioned people our entire life.  We've been told what we can do, what we can't do.  We've been told why this should happen, or why we really should shy away from certain things.  Throughout our entire life we have little by little been made smaller.  We've been forced to accept certain norms, but these norms are coming from others who haven't the foggiest notion of just how great we actually are.  Well today I want to encourage you to look outside of what has been your normal, and begin by putting away the things of old, and put on something completely new.

I was having a discussion with a client the other day.  We talked about some of the words that Christ Jesus spoke.  We've all heard them, but what we may not have done is looked into the reason these worlds were spoken to us.  "I am the Alpha and the Omega."  "I am the beginning and the end."  "I have always been, and will always be."  Countless times we have been reminded of these sayings, but far to often we neglect to really dig into the significance of these words, and why you should really heed them.  I was going to say you need to become these words, but in actuality, you already are these words, you just might not understand it yet, or may be unable to accept them yet.  When Christ spoke these words he wasn't saying them so you would remember who he was, he said them because he wanted you to know who you were.  You are the Alpha and Omega.  You are the beginning and the end.  You have been and always will be.  We have forgotten that we are infinite beings.  Most of the world's faiths believe that after death you will live eternally "forever".  My question is what is forever?  Is forever yesterday until the end of time?  Is forever tomorrow until the end of time?  What many people don't seen to understand is that forever is simply that, forever.  Forever has always been and will always be.  You can't have a forever that starts tomorrow, because what about yesterday?

I'm saying all this to set the framework for how we need to begin looking at things.  It is this framework that has largely been forgotten because of the conditioning we have been put through since birth.  Volumes and volumes of pages have been written in the past concerning who we are, what we are.  There are thousands of pages of words that describe how we should live our life in order to have the life we desire.  I've often said that you can study a book about driving a car for years and years, but until such time as you sit behind the wheel for the very first time, all those words are simply words, there's no real meaning because there has been no real action behind them.  Get behind the wheel and suddenly all the words you have been reading, that you have been studying begin to make much more sense.  Well let's extrapolate a little and I think you may come to some of the same conclusions I have come to.

If you have always been and will always be, what does that leave out?  If you are the beginning and the end, what does that leave out?  Why is it so difficult, and I mean really tough, to believe in your perfection?  Why do so many people never avail themselves of the phenomenal power that has been placed in them?  Why do we see ourselves as mere mortals when we are so much more than that?  I'm not saying this to beat you up, I'm saying this because why in God's name would you want to leave the best part of who you are just lying about never to be touched or used?  Let's face it 2020 has been a challenging year.  We have experienced things that most never expected, or even thought possible.  If you had known of, or accepted the power inside of you, would this year have been different?  If you had walked complete in your power would this year have been different?  Given the option to walk in this great power, this perfection, this birth right, do you think the year would have been different?

There always seems to be a lot of unknowns in life.  We often wonder what the next year will bring.  What will happen next month, or next week, or even tomorrow.  We live each day wondering.  What if we all learned that we can control what will happen each day, each week, each month or year?  This may all seem far fetched, but in reality, we create our reality.  If I had the ability to flip a switch and instantly each of us could walk in the complete knowledge of our greatness I certainly would do that.  Don't misunderstand , I'm not there yet.  I still have days when I'm wondering what is going on.  I still have days when I have to remind myself of who and what I am.  But this I do know, I am the Alpha and Omega.  I am the beginning and the end.  I have always been and will always be.  When you can grasp this, when you can live this, when you can feel and enjoy this, well then life changes forever.

We may face challenging times.  We might not have all the answers when we want them.  We just might be in a funk.  If you can get ahold of this concept of who you really are, what you are capable of, then challenges seem less difficult.  When you come to terms with your true essence, then you will be able to reach the mountain top.  We all want the best in life.  We all want to smile, to laugh, to feel fulfilled.  Sadly, we have also allowed others to take from us our understanding of who we are.  It is time that we step back and start fresh.  Just because yesterday didn't go so well, doesn't mean that tomorrow is going to be the same way.  So is it really true that we have always been? Yes! Is it true that we can create? Yes! Is it true that we are infinite, and in this never ending existence we can manifest the life we truly desire? Yes, yes, yes!  The only thing stopping you from having the life of your dreams, is that you don't believe in your dreams.  The only thing stopping you from having it all, is that you don't believe in having it all.  When you can accept the fact that you deserve it all, then you will have it all.  Having it all doesn't mean you are better than anyone else, or more deserving than someone else.  Having it all just means you finally know and recognize that you have always been and will always be.

As you begin to live the life you were always intended to live don't forget this one very important fact: you were created to create, but creation is not to be hoarded.  It is meant to be spread about for all to benefit from.  If you are doing just for you, it will dry up like a watering well in the heat of the summer.  We are all one body.  We are the total sum of our parts, and no one part is any more, or any less important.  We work together so that everyone might enjoy the benefit of being here.  Is really is true.  You are forever.  Now is your time to embrace this, and be encouraged.

The Power of your Imagination.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/97651299@N00/49669866078

Today I want to tap into your imagination, and I want to see how you see things, how you think of things, and maybe how you dream about things.  As you are well aware, there is nothing in this world today that we use in our daily life, that did not begin in someone's imagination.  This IMac that I use each day, was once a thought.  The truck I drive, also a thought.  That stupid little Gameboy that absorbs hours of the day in mindless activity also a thought.  Our imagination is probably our single greatest talent, and yet too many people simply blow it off as simple fantasy.  George Bernard Shaw was so right when he wrote that imagination is indeed the beginning of creation.

Why do you think you have the ideas that you have?  Maybe it's a simple idea of how to fix something.  It might be an idea of how to change up a recipe or alter a painting that you are working on.  Your idea might be about creating a new type of social platform that will revolutionize how we communicate with others.  The list of ideas is as endless as the ever expanding universe.  There is a reason you have these ideas, why you have an imagination.  Quite simply, you imagination is unlimited.  Your imagination is never going to be affected by what is going on around you.  It knows no limits, because it is simply off limits to everyone else accept yourself.  No one can mess with your imagination because you are your imagination, and no one can get into your mind and alter what is running through it.

I've been asked what the process is from imagination to maturation.  There are plenty of people who dream things, but never seem to manifest those dreams.  There is one fundamental truth that must be adhered to if you are ever going to take what is in your imagination and bring it to life.  You have to believe! If you don't believe you can have what you dream about, and a dream is nothing more than your imagination, then you will never see what you want.  Either you accept your greatness or you don't.  Either you believe that you are a creator or you don't.  Walking around wondering when things will change for you is really a sign that you haven't fully grasped the significance of your existence.  I can write about who and what you are all day long, but until such time as you accept who and what you are, you will never manifest the life you dream about, the life you imagine.  I want to stop here for just a moment and warn you of one thing: when you start operating fully within your imagination, when you start creating, you will be the oddity.  You will scare people, as they will never understand the power you operate in.  I do not say this to intimidate you, rather to prepare you.  Creative power, imagination power, is the most powerful thing in the world.  Your imagination is unlimited.  Do you understand that?  There is nothing you can't imagine.

Have you ever woken from a dream and felt like it was so real?  I dream all day long.  When I'm driving around I'm dreaming.  When I'm sitting back to relax I'm dreaming.  Your imagination is never turned off. It's impossible to turn off your imagination.  Why in the world would you want to discount something that comes from your imagination.  There is a reason you are thinking about the things you are thinking of.  Now I will admit that some people have some pretty wild ideas.  That being said, it is their ideas.  There is a reason why we think about the things we think about.  Funny fact:  neurologist are unable to define where thoughts come from.  They have yet to explain how to turn off thoughts.  Think about this, and try this experiment:  stop thinking right now.  Impossible, right?  You can't stop thinking, which means you will never stop imagining.  If you can't stop thinking or imagining, then why not benefit from those things you think about or imagine?

We have forgotten that we are one of the most complex beings ever to exist.  We have the ability to do so much more than pretty much anything else in existence.  Trees can't create a house.  Certainly we need wood to construct it, but the tree didn't pound the hammer.  Dogs and cats as cute as they are, and I love my dog more than words can describe, but dogs and cats can't manufacture a car.  We as humans can do some pretty incredible things, yet we miss out on one of the most important aspects of our lives when we discount those things running through our imagination.  What would have happened had Steve Jobs simply discounted what was running through his imagination?  What about Edison?  He could have simply chalked it up to a foolish whim, and never done anything with his ideas.  We have an imagination because there is something we are supposed to do with these thoughts.

It all comes down to believing.  Believing that you are worthy of having what you desire.  Believing that you were created to have the perfect life.  Believing that you are an incredible specimen, sent here to do incredible things.  I get how hard it can be to believe for something.  I've cried so many tears in the past when what I wanted seemed to be just out of my reach.  No one said that manifesting something was always going to be easy.  I imagine a world where every single person has come alive with an understanding of their destiny.  I imagine a world where we no longer compete with others, but rather provide a helping hand to see that their dreams come true.  I imagine a world were we no longer fight, but lift each other up, knowing that we will benefit from their efforts.

The Power of your imagination is truly unlimited.  It all starts with believing that you are unlimited.  Most people fail to fully walk out their dreams because they can't accept that their dreams really are for them.  I can imagine that this blog will reach millions of people around the world.  Have I reached that point yet?  That is still unanswered, but unanswered does not mean undone.  I continue to write because I continue to see what is in my imagination.  I want to encourage you to not give up.  Remember, your imagination is the "beginning of creation" as Shaw says.

As crazy as things are in our world today, there has never been a better time to sit back and simply focus on what is running through your mind, your imagination, your dreams.  Those things that you constantly think about, those things that bring a smile to your face, joy in your heart, those are the things that are meant for you.  The question I have is do you believe they are meant for you?  Can you accept the fact that what you dream about,  what you can imagine, really is meant for you?  I leave you with this one thought: true happiness comes when we live what we imagine.

Knowing that you believe; this is the key to everything.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/92204829@N07/8380526249
Why do we continue to stand, even when we have been through the most trying of time?  Why do we get up each morning, not knowing what is ahead of us, yet feeling as though things will be OK?  Is there a difference between knowing you are great, and believing you are great?  Today I want you to begin to understand that what you are, where you are, and what you have gone through is no coincidence.  What I'd like you to do this morning is simply take a step back and be grateful that you have stood up against some pretty harsh odds, and yet you are still here.

There's an old saying that "Seeing is believing."  We've all heard it, and we've all thought and said it in the past.  It's easy to believe something when you can touch it, taste it, feel it, and the like.  Is there a difference between knowing and believing something?  You can know that the bridge that spans across a canyon is stable and will hold you, but do you believe it?  Would you step out on that bridge and cross it?  You will only know when you believe.  People can tell you all day long how great you are, but do you believe in the greatness that resides in you?  I know I'm asking a ton of questions this morning, but it's essential that you believe.

Our belief in certain things seems to be tested each and every day of our life.  Just about the time you feel you have a real grasp on things something comes up that tosses you for a loop, and bam, you're right back to step one.  I know it's easy to say you believe in something, but do you really?  I've been attempting to read through a few of Neville Goddard's books.  His writings are incredibly difficult to understand, and I find myself reading and re-reading paragraph after paragraph just to understand.  His writing has come to me at a critical time in my life.  I need to grasp what he has written, as I need to grasp what I am going through at the moment.  I am having to really, really try to understand the difference between knowing and believing.  I'm not going to disclose what the issues are, suffice it to say I am focusing on turning my knowing into truly believing.

It's always easy to believe when things are going smooth.  It's quite easy to believe when you are not facing all the giants n the land.  However, how many times in life do you find yourself void of the giants?  How many times have you been able to avoid all the bumps in the road?  Life is life, and just about the time you think you have it all figured out, bam, another bump.  I'm not here to say that there will never be a time when things are simply perfect.  There are certainly going to be times when we simply rest, and thoughts of "perfection" are all that you can think about, because that perfection is all that you are experiencing in the moment.

I really want to challenge you today to think about what you know about yourself, and what you believe about yourself.  On paper I can spell out all the greatness about you.  I can write down characteristics of beauty, of creative abilities, and of course how perfect in design you are.  There have been volumes written about the greatness that resides in each of us.  But what happens when I toss out that paper?  What happens when trials come, does that knowledge still hold fast and do you really believe?  Let's be real for just a moment.  You can profess and profess until the cows come home that you know certain things, and with that confession you can believe almost anything.  But does that belief continue when faced with a challenge?  Can you say that no matter what you see in front of you, what you believe is what is real?

You see our reality is basically what we see with our eyes.  Our reality is predicated upon what we have experienced.  What our reality should be based on is what we believe in our heart, not just what we see with our eyes.  Remember we create our world with our words, our thoughts, and our feelings.  If we simply take what has taken place as our only reality, we are constantly going to be reacting instead of creating.  It is when we are being challenged that we have the toughest time hanging on to our beliefs.  Do I really believe that I am capable to manifesting anything and everything in my life?  I say I know I can, but do I really believe I can?  Please understand, I am not pointing fingers or accusing you of not believing.  What I am doing is encouraging you to really takes the steps you need to take so that all knowledge turns into beliefs.  True beliefs will never be changed base on the circumstances happening around you.  True belief will survive any and all attacks on you.

We've all heard the saying that when the going gets tough the tough get going.  This is so true in regards to knowing verses believing.  When things get rocky, do you still believe?  When you are challenged, do you still believe?  When you are simply tired of the struggles, and you have been kicked in the face for the umpteenth time, do you still believe?  I so wish I could say to you that you will never ever face another single battle.  I would love to think that neither of us will ever face adversity again.  We both know that's not the case.  Because we live in times that challenge us, we have to know the difference between simple Knowledge and hardened belief.  I know when I lay my head down on the pillow at night that when the morning comes the sun will rise.  If I can't believe the same things, how rested will I be when I wake in the morning, if I wake in the morning.  I know that may sound like a stupid question to ask, but it is that simple.  As simple as the question might be, the answer is not always as simple, because believing is not always as simple as knowing.   Confused?  Know this: when you make the leap from knowing to believing, life changes, as you will have made the monumental shift from just being, to now doing.

It is time to make a shift in thinking.  It's time to take what you know and turn it into what you believe.  You can make this leap.  I promise you this:  when you believe all things are possible, and not just possible because it is right in front of your eyes.

Take a Step Back.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/7745460@N08/33066444664
Let's just take a deep breath, take a step back, and just for a moment relax.  We've all been through something this past year.  I wrote earlier this month that if anyone was sitting back at the end of 2019 thinking or trying to get a look at what the upcoming year was going to be like, I don't think any of this would have appeared on the radar.  What I want to do today is simply get you to let go of what has happened, and instead reflect on the idea that through it all, we have stood strong.  Through this whole debacle of a year, and yes, I think it has affected everyone in one way or another, but through it all, we have had the opportunity to grow, to learn, and more importantly, to survive it all.

Looking back can also be looking forward, as weird as that might sound.  When we reflect on things gone by, we also look forward to things that will be brought to us.  When we look at things that are meant for us we need to show gratitude.  In all things, being grateful is the key to having what we desire most.  Have you ever done something for someone and instead of them being thankful, they simply acted as if they were entitled to whatever it was they received.  There's a huge difference between being entitled to something, and really appreciating something.  I know that I am special, that I am one of a kind, a superhero in the universe.  These are not words of conceit, rather words of affirmation.  I am grateful that I am here in the present.  I am so honored to be a part of this time, sharing my gifts, my wisdom, my heart to others.  Because of how I view my existence I look at entitlement from an entirely different place.  By accepting my power, my strength, my uniqueness, I am saying that me being here is in the perfection of the Universe.  This does not come from a place of pride, but from a position of appreciation.  I so appreciate that I get to do what I do.  I so appreciate others, and what I get to present to them.  No matter what this world may be going through, you still have the opportunity to give to others.  No matter how warped the world has become, you still have the ability to change humanity.  Without regard to what you see or hear on a daily basis from those who have given up hope, you still have the opportunity to display grace and courage.  This my friends is taking a step back while still looking ahead.

We have to start appreciating what we have, who we are, and what we are.  When you take the time to be grateful for all of this, then you are able to navigate these trying times.  I'd like to say that everyday forward will be smooth sailing, but while we contend with all that is going on around us, we can't loose focus of our great abilities, our great presence in this world.  We have allowed others to cause us to second guess our perfection.  We have allowed situations to dampen our spirit.  This is something we have to fight against.  Think of it this way:  if you will hold fast to the knowledge of who you really are, you will never have to look back and wonder where all the joy went, the happiness, the love.  This world needs as much joy, happiness, and love that is possible.  You bring this to others.  You need to bring this to others.  Only when we operate out of love, walk in our joy and happiness, can we change the face of humanity.  Let's be real and realize that we are the catalyst for change in our world.

Here's my challenge to this this day:  take a step back and reflect on how much you have grown over the last few years.  Take a step back and realize the lives you have touched simply by giving of yourself and being your authentic self.  Take a step back and simply be grateful that you are alive in this moment.  We can change those things going on around us.  We can walk above the fray and gain victory in all that we desire.  The only one stopping you is you.  How you look at things, how you think and speak about things, all of this will produce what happens in the future.  We can allow doubt and fear to rule us, or we can create our perfect environment, void of the chaos that surrounds others.

There's no doubt that each of us have been touched and effected by all that is happening today.  The effects have been mild to some, catastrophic to others.  No matter the effect, taking a simple moment to look back, will allow you to see things in a different light.  Remember ,not all things that appear to be disastrous, are there simply to get you to quit.  Growth and learning comes from these things, and often the growth and learning you need has to be thrust upon you.  Granted we would like to be free from disaster, but isn't growth and learning sometimes the gold at the end of the rainbow?  I have learned so much since the beginning of the year.  I have dug deep and have accepted the challenges.  One thing I haven't done, and won't do is second guess things.  My personal growth this year is a direct result of not giving up.  My growth and understanding  is also a by-product of standing up to what I sometimes fear, standing up to what is sometimes difficult to grasp.  Certainly doubt will try to enter into the equation, but in those moments I simply remind myself of who I am.  We are blessed creatures.  We are powerful.  Yes we need to continually remind ourselves of this truth, but in holding fast to these truths we can look back on the past and see the benefits of having gone through the things we have gone through.

Simply put, do not discount the situations you have gone through.  Do not fail to see the brilliance of what is happening.  You can look at things through the eyes of those who walk around defeated all the time, or you can choose to see things as they truly are.  The truth of the matter is that things are as they need to be, as they were designed to be,  and quite frankly destined to be.  I guess the simplest way fro me to put this is this way:  grasp your significance.  My dear friends we need to come together and in one voice state our convictions.  We must come together and stand our ground.  We must come together and bring awareness to the rest of humanity.  There are people crying out all around us, and we have the answers they need.  Share your visions, share your heart, share the very best part of you. When we share the light, darkness will leave.  I know this sounds incredibly useless, in light of all that is happening, but if we feel that we will have no effect, then we will have no effect.  I refuse to stand by and not share my light.

So take a step back, take that deep breath we talked about, and prepare to throw yourself to the wolves.  It's not as scary as you might think.  Walk in your power, stand in your beauty, share from your heart.  We can change what is happening, but often that change begins with us.  Start by accepting all that you are.  It is time that we stand on the mountain top.  It is time to shine our light down on those who need it.  It is simply time that we begin to create the world we desire, and not feel as thought we have to accept what has been presented to us as the only option.  Take your rightful place, and see if you aren't able to change a few grimaces into smiles along the way.

Is this really what you want?

We all want things in our life.  We all need things to survive.  The basics are food, water, clothing, a place to lay your head at night, and for others a meaningful career.  Some people have the ability too manifest everything they desire in life, others go a lifetime trying to figure out what they really want.  My question today, or my statement today, is not so much what you want, but why you want it.  If you believe in the Law of Attraction, and even if you don't, you're never going to change it so you might as well get on board with it.  But, even if you don't believe in manifestation or the like, there are still going to be times that you desire something.  The reason you desire something is really what I want to focus in on today.

We are still in a time when we try to keep up with those around us.  If someone buys a new home, then for some odd reason certain people are no longer satisfied with the home they have.  If someone buys the latest model year of that big ass truck, you're no longer satisfied with your old Ford.  The list goes on, and so does the constant striving for things.  It is OK to desire certain things, but the underlying reason you want them is what is important.  If you only want more stuff so you can show others that you have more stuff, then you have an issue.  If you desire a bigger home simply because your brother or sister have a bigger home, well you have an issue.  People who gain their worth by the job they have, or by the stuff they own, they have an issue.  It's quite fine to be proud of what you have accomplished.  It's OK to succeed and with that success obtain things you desire.  That being said, if you striving for success is simply to have bragging rights, well you're heading in the wrong direction.

You can have all the signs of success: a big house, a new fancy car, and tons of money in the bank, but if you are not doing what you were born to do, there is going to be a void in your life that can't be filled with a bigger home, a fancier car, or more money.  I will bet you dimes to donuts that those who continue to strive for more in life only as a measuring guide against other's success, they are the ones who have yet to discover their real purpose on earth.  I know that may sound like a harsh statement, but truth is, when you finally discover your true destiny, achieving wealth or having signs of success is really secondary to you.  I can hear all the capitalist swearing at me right now, LOL.  I have nothing against wealth.  I have nothing against a new home, or a fancy car, or money in the bank.  My only focus is having you focus in on why you desire these things.  I've often said that if you can't see yourself as good enough without all the fancy things, you're still not going to see yourself as worthy when you are waist deep in stuff.  The absolute key to being able to manifest things in your life is first understanding the significance of your being.  The primary reason people fail to get what they desire is that they don't really believe they are worthy of having what they desire.  Taking it one step further, the reason they don't feel worthy is because they can't accept the greatness, the magic, the power that they have inside of them.

You could be in a dry hot desert dying of thirst, and if I give you a cup of water to drink, but you think it simply a mirage or hallucination, and don't drink, you will die.  While I can tell you all day about your worth, your power, your true self, yet you don't believe it, you are simply going to stay in that no-mans land of always wanting, always lacking, always wanting more.  It is so critical that you understand who you are.  It is vital that you accept that you are on this earth for a specific purpose.  It is essential that you master the art of self-love, and set aside all doubt of your importance to this world.  So many people are attempting to fill a void in their life, but that void is simply there because you have yet to figure out your purpose, your destiny.  When I was younger I wanted to be President.  I thought if I could hold the highest office the land I would finally fill as though I had made it.  I will tell you that writing is my destiny.  Helping others discover their destiny is my destiny.  I love writing, I love speaking, I love me.  When you finally accept your calling, you will fill the void.

I constantly see post on social media about manifesting millions of dollars.  I see post after post about how one can have it all. What I fail to see is an explanation of how to discover the real you, which has to be the first step in having it all.  When you know the real you, the authentic you, the unique you, you already have it all.  Everything else is simply icing on the cake.  There are plenty of things I have been believing for in my life.  I am not immune from questioning or doubting.  What I do in those moments of doubt is focus my attention on what I know as truth.  I know I am a creator.  I know I am powerful, a manifesting machine.  I go back to the question, why are you wanting to manifest something?  If your goal is to have it just to say you have it, sadly that is the wrong motivation.  If you desire something so that you might be of service to others, to change humanity, to bring life, then you are on the right track.  Motivation is the dividing line for most things.  If you have the right motivation things come simple.  If your motivation is anything less than honorable, well I'm sorry to say, even in victory there will an emptiness to you.

Knowing why you want or desire something is where it all starts.  Good begets good.  Motivation moves us in the right direction, but only when that motivation is right.  Let me say once again there is nothing wrong with desiring nice things.  There is nothing wrong with wanting to be successful.  I want each of you to have it all.  I desire that we all walk in abundance.  Just be mindful of why you want something, why you feel you need something.  If the need is there because there is a void there, determine what the void is.  I truly believe that once you discover the void, the missing link, which is knowing your destiny, then everything else will fall into place.  So what do you really want, and why do you want it?  When you are able to answer this question, and the answer is based on knowing who and what you are, then you will walk in true prosperity.

Empty is empty.  Full is full.  Love will conquer all things.  Love yourself, know yourself, and watch your cup fill to over flowing.  Life is not always easy, and to some, life is not always fair.  That being said, life is what you make of it.  Don't complicate things by doubting why you are here.  Understand that you are here in the perfection of the Universe, and in that perfection you can have it all, as long as having it all is driven by helping, and not simply having.

What's next?

http://www.flickr.com/photos/31167076@N07/5471047557
Now there's two ways one can approach this question.  On one side of the equation you might wonder how can anything worse happen in the future.  On the other side of the equation, there's the wonder of how many great things are going to happen.  My question to you is what side of the equation are you going to fall on?

One can either live in perpetual high expectation of all the good that is waiting for them, or just walk around with that tiny black thunder cloud hovering over their head, waiting for a catastrophe to happen.  Once again, what side of the equation are you going to place yourself?

Let's admit, 2020 has not been the year that many had envisioned New Years Eve 2019.  There have been so many ups and downs, with many focusing on the downs more than they ever thought possible.  I'm here to tell you today that most of what has happened has happened for a very specific reason, and no matter what has transpired, one must find the joy in all things.  When you are able to see growth, maturity at the end of a struggle, then isn't it all worth it?  When you can see what has taken place as a good thing, then you are on your way.  When you can look back and simply smile, knowing that you are one of the few who has moved forward, now that should completely make your heart soar like a hawk.

No one really knows what's next.  Sure there are those who will profess to know it all, but they don't.  They might have a feeling, an inclination, or even a strong sense, but knowing it all, not likely.  That being said, how you set up your thoughts, your feelings, your words about what lies ahead, now that's what is going to set the groundwork.  We don't always need to know what is next.  What we need to do is set the expectation of what is next.  What we need to do is feel what is next.  What we simply need to do is believe for what is next.  One can go through each day with zero thought about what approaches, but if you could give life a kick start to ensure you get what you desire, why would you miss out on that opportunity?

If you are like the millions and millions of people who have felt a shift in things, then you also know that with this shift many have experienced things that let us say they would rather have gone without.  Even in the most trying times we need to know how to find joy in what we experience.  Even when faced with challenges we need to know this is all good.  Success, joy, happiness, it all starts with what you are thinking, what you are feeling, and what you are saying.  We often end the fight before it ever begins simply by what we are saying.  Failure is not, and let me repeat, is not what any of us signed up for when we came into this existence.  I'm going to say something right now, and at the risk of many of you thinking I'm completely crazy, know this, I'm not.  I'm simply getting to the point in my life where I realize the significance of my my true existence.  WE WERE NOT CREATED TO BE FAILURES!!!!!!!  Our mission is to create.  Too many people are reactionary, and not proactive. People respond to what is going on around them instead of being the source of what is going on around them.  As impossible as this might sound, you need to start creating all that happens around you.  It's not going to come over night, but if you never take your rightful place, then you are going to be asking yourself what is next, and the pictures in your mind are going to be anything but phenomenal.

I've spent the better part of this year simply focusing on me.  Now I'm going at this from a selfish standpoint.  What I am saying is that I have been focusing on knowing the real me.  Focusing on the me that has the ability to do all things.  Focusing on the me who is perfect, strong, determined, and most of all infinite.  Ladies and Gentlemen we have to start seeing our true essence, and not some forced down our throat view of what others say we are.  If you are viewing the question of what is next from a vantage point of doom and gloom, you're screwed already.  If on the other hand you see things as all things possible, then smile and know you are going places.

Growing and prospering in an era of doom and gloom is no easy task, but it's a task each of us must accept.  It's easy to go with the flow.  It's easy to fall behind those shouting the loudest.  Sadly, those shouting the loudest, are not always the ones shouting the right things.  I'm here to tell you that it all begins with your thoughts, your feelings, and your words.  There is nothing that is going on right now that you can say you didn't bring into existence. Certainly you can deny it, but denying it doesn't make it any less real.  I can hear the cat calls already.  "You mean I've caused Covid?" "I didn't ask for any of this!"  You're right you didn't create Covid, but in reality you did ask for things.  Folks, we are created beings.  We create everyday whether you want to believe it or not.  You have to get to the point where you are controlling your thoughts and words.  Stop the madness, and get on board with this.  You can call it making the right affirmations, confessions, whatever you want, but what you say, your words, have power.  You can either choose to create or choose to destroy, it's as simple as that.  You may be pissed at me for saying all this, but sooner or later you are going to have to figure things out.  My editor and publisher are always telling me that I tend to be pretty blunt, and this bluntness might turn off readers.  Sorry, but if one is hanging over a precipice you'll accept a rope even from the most blunt person in the world.  I'm not trying to make you feel bad, on the contrary, I'm trying to help you see that you are fully able to create happiness, goodness, joy, prosperity in your life.  You simply have to start knowing and believing this.

I've been through a lot in my life.  I've always worked, always done the best I could.  I'd like to say that life has been grand 100 percent of the time, but it hasn't.  I've struggled like many of you.  I've wondered what was next, and quite frankly not looking forward to any of it.  Through all the highs and lows I internally knew or felt that I was a little different. Now not different in that I am any more special than any of you.  Different in that I had this sense of something great, something that would indeed change the world, something that I was destined for.  When you know your calling, your purpose, your destiny, things change.  When you are sure of why you are here, then the question of what is next is on the side of the equation that is wonderful to think about.  This is where I desire each of you to be.

We can ask what is next, expecting doom and gloom, or we can create what is next.  We can roll with the punches, or we can set in motion all the is going to the place.  I encourage you to think about what you desire, and know that those desires are there because they are for you.  Once again we were not placed here simply to take up space or for the free popcorn. What's next is going to depend on what you feel, speak, think.  My suggestion is that you really focus on your dreams, your desires, your destiny.  It's really up to you.  I know what's next, do you?
